Hotel Restaurant Seegarten Marina Spiez

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Restaurant Seegarten Marina in Spiez. The location is absolutely stunning, right on the edge of Lake Thun with beautiful views of the water and mountains. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always helpful, which made the experience even better. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well kept, and the restaurant offers delicious food with plenty of local dishes and a lovely lakeside terrace. It’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy the scenery, and take in the peaceful atmosphere of Spiez. I highly recommend booking a lake-view room if possible — it’s truly worth it! Such a beautiful spot to relax by the water. The setting is peaceful with lovely lake views and a charming atmosphere. Service was friendly and attentive, and the food was really good — fresh, well-presented and very enjoyable. We loved sitting by the marina, just enjoying the quiet surroundings and the scenic views of Lake Thun. A great place to unwind and have a nice meal or drink. Highly recommended when visiting Spiez!

I stopped by for a drink and enjoyed some wine and beer here. Overall, it was fine, but I’d like to share one small experience that made me a bit uncomfortable. When I was about to finish, the staff mentioned that a Chinese guest had once left without paying and asked me to settle the bill before I requested it. I didn’t feel offended at that time, but later I realized that it wasn’t a very appropriate comment — it seemed to assume something about me just based on how I look. I’m sure it wasn’t meant with bad intentions, but I hope the staff can be a little more mindful in the future. Otherwise, the place itself was nice and I wish them all the best.

We spent a weekend there and we can not recommend enough this hotel. The staff is very helpful. Location is great. The whole experience was exquisite. We will definitely come back again.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Great air conditioning. Gorgeous location right on the water, with a designated swimming area just across from the hotel for 7 francs for a swim in the gorgeous blue water. Restaurant conveniently located on site, food was good. Bus stop 1 minute walk from front door. Breakfast sitting out on the deck by the water very peaceful.

The staff is very friendly, and the location is excellent. However, the rooms do not have air conditioning, which can be uncomfortable, especially with kids in warm weather. Additionally, there is limited free parking available for hotel guests. With this price range, there might be better options available.

The waiter at the restaurant is rude, we were fixing the trolly for the baby and she shouted “EXCUSE ME THIS IS NOT GOOD FOR THE SERVICE” so we left the restaurant immediately. No one accepts to be treated in such a rude and unprofessional way.

It’s a must Stay in Hotel Seegarten marina . Awesome Service , wonderful view , the best food , the best in everything. There was no negative things about this wonderful hotel . We stayed 3 days in this beautiful hotel and everything was great . If you guys want to stay in spiez , then you have to stay in hotel seegarten . The Reception staff Paula was very helpful and kind . The restaurant staff Mr Adao was so so sweet and funny and makes everyone laugh and makes us even more happier. All the other restaurant staff were also kind to us . Great service . Best breakfast , best dinner and everything was great . Can’t stop thinking about this wonderful hotel and will come again .

I came here for a tourism with my family. But I got an unfair treament for my assian face. To be honest, the food was just OK, the wine was great. But the service was to much bad. The waitress named Ja* was really bad. I was sitting in a normal place, but she accross, she pushed my chair on purpose like I was blocking the way. Come on, I was sitting just like everybody else. Why me? And when I tried to talked to her why. She acted like it's my fault and said to me It's OK. I feeled really bad about it. And I will never come to Spiez for this unpleasant memory though this beautiful view. What a pity!

We popped in here for lunch. I travel around a lot and have eaten a lot of pizza in my life. This place had some of the best pizza, doesn't look like much was amazing. Probably the best pizza I've had in Europe. We got the chicken tenders as well which they seasoned the paprika. Pretty good! Wonderful view, our waiter was nice. I would eat here if you're in the area! (The wait is what you can expect in europe, it's not bad service they just don't rush)

Ok. I ordered the red deer which was amazing and I would give the food 5 stars. However the service was horrendous and should get negative stars. Valentina was beyond rude, short, and on the edge of mean! Stay away from Valentina! She does not know how to treat guests. Btw - food is super expensive.

Came here for a work meeting and ordered the fish (from Thun) with French fries. The fish was delicious, probably the best I have had. Great flavor. The salad that came with it was also good and the fries were nicely cooked. Great location and good service. Overall a nice location with good food.

Very solid...exactly what you'd expect next to a marina. I had gazpacho (it was great) and pizza, which was typical of stone fired pizza...with a chewy and crispy crust. Gurten Bier from Bern was very good. Loved sitting by the marina watching the boats come in.

Food is good but the service is really baaaad！I have been asking for water for half an hour but the waitress told me she is too busy and ignore me. This is worst service I have ever received in Swiss. If there is other restaurants open I don't recommend you come here unless you want to make yourselves feel foolish.

Salad was ok but the pizzas were disgusting and the kids schnitzel was hard like a rock. Location is very nice but the food was terrible and the service mediocre
