Hotel Steinbock is a charming boutique hotel run by the amazing Diana and her wonderful team. This is our second time we have stayed here and we like it even more! The rooms are charming and clean and our beds were very comfortable. The staff are so friendly and helpful; after a couple of mornings, they knew what we drank and ate at breakfast and would offer us our usuals when we came down! The breakfast and coffee is delicious and all the fresh bread too tempting! They even helped our sons by ordering special bread to suit their allergies. They arranged lunches for us in the mountains and even an appointment with the eye doctor for my husband. There is a small spa with sauna, steam, jacuzzi and cold plunge, which we loved to visit after a hard day’s skiing. It is a a short walk into town and the cable car.

Second time at Steinbock. Big rooms, comfy beds. The owners Yann and Diana and the hotel staff did everything to make us feel very welcomed. Delicious breakfast and very nice after ski sauna and jacuzzi. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for 4 nights, when we arrived we had a helpful welcome. Very nice, cosy, clean and large rooms. Young atmosphere, really nice, lovely and professional staff. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, plentiful and tasty. We had a great time here, as both the surroundings and the hotel are wonderful! I highly recommend it to everyone and I am sure we will return!

I stayed at this hotel with my family of 6 for about a week. Upon arrival at 21:45, the hotel happily kept the kitchen open to serve us all a great dinner after a long drive from Northern Europe.||We stayed in one of the apartments that are offered with a fully functional kitchen that we used multiple times after a long day of skiing. All the pots and pans, olive oil and everything else one needs for cooking are included.||On the days we wanted to eat at the restaurant, we were able to enjoy great types of cheese fondue and meat fondue. What made the dining experience better was the exceptional service by Jan, Tristan and the rest of the team.||Even though the rooms were a bit outdated, everything a guest asked for is successfully received. ||The hotel is very close to the gondola and ski rental places and offers plentiful indoor parking. ||I highly recommend Hotel Steinbock!

Very busy - so we were informed on booking that we could only choose from the set menu. It turned out that the food and service was excellent. The salad bar was comprehensive and whilst I was looking the sous chef popped out of the kitchen to ask me if I needed anything else. He decided I needed some extra chopped vegetables on top of my selection to improve my choice. The evening was a triumph - the main courses were all delicious - the local Swiss wine a perfect accompaniment.||Everybody decided that the Steinbock is a hidden gem as totally unpretentious but delivered on atmosphere , service and food. The Manageress who had been there for years thanked us on the way out for our positive comments

We were a group of friends staying over for three days. The staff was very attentive and made sure we all can sit together and use the sauna together. Rooms were very clean, but the beds could be a bit more comfortable - higher quality. Free parking was a major plus!

We stayed here for 3 nights to enable us to explore the Davos-Klosters ski area. The hotel is located just a 5 minute walk from the station, making it a perfect location as the main Klosters cable car is adjacent to the platforms while the train to Davos runs regularly from there. The hotel is quite small but very cozy with very pleasant and friendly staff. Much of the ground floor is taken up by the restaurant which has a lovely ambience in the evenings. The breakfast is plentiful, with the usual meats, cheeses, cereals and hot eggs, bacon and sausages, however, it is the evening meal that deserves special mention. The restaurant is very popular with non-hotel residents and can be quite busy. We stayed on a Half Board basis, which meant that we chose from a different menu but one with plenty of choice and enjoyed some very tasty dishes that satisfied our skiers appetite. The hotel has a sauna and small ‘Wellness’ type room which was perfectly adequate for our needs though if you wanted more options, you could visit (free of charge) a neighbouring hotel’s larger facility. The bedroom was large and spotlessly clean and quiet even though we were on the road side (Klosters seems pretty quiet in the evenings!) The only thing that, perhaps, was missing was a small bar where hotel residents could have a quiet drink either after skiing or pre-dinner but this is definitely a hotel that I would stay at again should we (hopefully) return to Klosters in the future.

Yelp
Went here for a business dinner. It was one of our first nights in Kloster. We obviously had to have schnitzel. We had it with fries and red-wine. The service was great and the food very tasty. This is a typical Swiss restaurant with the local ambiance. Overall a great experience. We enjoyed it very much

Yelp
The Steinbock hotel is ok, typical Swiss style (=nothing fancy or modern), but very friendly staff and a good breakfast buffet. My biggest complaint: the heating - I had no chance to get the room temperature to a normal level, despite having turned the thermostat fully down. Only opening the window helped. The room key system is a hassle. If you leave the hotel you can't just drop your keys or take them with you, but have to go to a board on a wall by the reception and exchange the room for a house key - a bit dated for the 21st century. Parking garage is a pain to get in/out, featuring a steep ramp and a garage door opener (key operated wall switch) you can't reach from your car. The hotel has wireless internet... though, one of those systems you have to constantly login again - not user friendly Last thing there is a main street in the front - make sure to book a room facing the back or is on the top floor.
