Hotel - Restaurant Zu den Drei Kronen

Was not so impressed. We had a big group and guests from France for dinner and a few drinks. 2 servers were great, and 1 had poor customer service, which ruined the evening. Recommended for a quick dinner out but not for a big event. The service starts great and tappered off. Down the street by the river crossing was a better place who welcomed us with great customer service after being refused additional service at this location.

Immediately along bicycle trail with good inside bike storage . Owner / manager was available to greet us and help with bike storage but due to help shortage no one was at reception for the rest of our stay . |Elevator to upper rooms . Great patio on 1st floor with free coffee and tea available at all times . |Room quite large with 2 large windows and small sitting area. Bathroom very large , clean , quite modern and with a good shower. |No dinner due to lack of help but great restaurants within 400 meters . |Excellent breakfast with made to order eggs and numerous other food options . |Nice place to spend a night or more

Delicious food and nice location in the summer when you can sit outside in the beer garden. I've had the Käsespätzle a few times here and they're really good. Very nice presentation as well. The owners and staff is very friendly. I can definitely recommend this place.

We had a lovely welcome in this great hotel. Unfortunately our requests on our booking form hadn't been carried out but they were soon sorted. The food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious- the calve's liver and pike perch (zander) were so tasty. Unfortunately the waitress was run off her feet poor thing and we were partly through our soup when my wife's fish arrived. We were asked whether she would like the fish putting in the warmer! So we pushed our soup to one side and the waiter left it there. My main course arrived just as my wife was finishing hers. This spoilt what would have been a good or great meal even. The ambience in the restaurant was very good except for an older woman laughing loudly at everything her younger boyfriend said. They were seriously annoying.

The hotel is very clean, room and bathroom have good size and are comfortable. It is located across the square from the train station and a 5 minute walk from scenic Donauworth. Staff is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Reception is not open 24 hours but you get a key to the entrance. Breakfast is great! It is so good that is popular with the locals, so you may have to share a table. Wi-fi is very good. Location is quiet. All in all all it is a great place to stay in quaint Donauworth.

Spent four weeks here while on business at Airbus Helicopters. Very nice room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Located very close to rail station for easy access to anywhere in Germany. Complimentary Breakfast was superb. Restaurant located on the first floor was also very excellent.

Stayed here while visiting Donauworth for work. Ideal location right beside the train station but a very short walk to the restaurants and bars in the town centre. Rooms were spacious (as long as you get a double or apartment room) and cleaned well. AC is essential in the Summer. Breakfast was very good and included in the price of the room.

The rooms are large and clean|But it was very warm with no A/C|It was difficult to sleep with open windows because of traffic noise|We are on a bike tour and had a dinner included. Compared to other places we have stayed before, the menu was quite poor. We asked to sit in the beer garden but the waitress insisted in placing us inside, where it was very hot snd empty
