Horrible. Horrible hotel. Do people ever get sick of Hotel people ever being rude? It’s like they don’t want you there. Even though you, the customer, pays. No WiFi, no smiles just sneers and frowns. Which is really sad. The location is good, the hotel is clean but after questioning the origin of the orange juice, which was not oranges, I received a very RUDE message telling me that I am to check out at 11:00 tomorrow as if I didn’t know that. As if I didn’t make the reservation myself, How Rude. If I could get my money back and leave I would. Too bad too because I’m writing this review. Their breakfast is not worth buying (honestly, I haven’t had a good hotel breakfast since arriving in Spain except the Hotel Castillo in Malaga where they actually had fresh ‘huevos estrellados’.) I’m not rude and I’ve made every effort to speak Spanish but this message, the first I’ve ever received during this trip is beyond the pale. I don’t know what Hotel owners think. Have you seen the coffee? Or lack thereof? It’s like you’re doing them a favor. Yeah, no. It’s best to look elsewhere until the current owners sell as it’s obvious they’re tired of the public. Until new ownership who welcome their guests, it’s best to find somewhere else. And, now I understand why there’s so much ‘camping’ around the area. Too bad. 😟

We had a really nice stay. Would come back again for Sure! Rooms were clean and well equipped. Service was good and the breakfast was also fine. They had soy milk for the coffee, but could improve with vegan food options for breakfast.

The view from this hotel is the only thing that I liked. I would not recommend this place. Breakfast is so poor. No water or tea, the bare minimum. Nothing that was cooked, only cheese, one type of ham, bacon and cereals. The breakfast was from 7:30-10:30. If you come to eat at 8:30, it won’t be anything left for you to eat, and the probability for them to bring more food it’s close to 0. Maybe if you make a scene you can make them bring some more food, as we did… The dinner was also included but it wasn’t that good either. One night, as a “dessert”, they gaved us yogurt and a bag of sugar. 🤯At dinner, on the table they had water and red wine but only one glass to drink from. My recommendation - stay here but eat elsewhere because it is not worth it.

Although we didn’t stay in the Alfar because the hotel was fully booked, we did eat here a couple of times. The menu del Dia was superb value at €15 & it was very good. We ate out on the terrace at lunch time & it was excellent & very good value. With the delicious food, beautifully served it was easy to see why it was always busy . Highly recommended.

We stayed in the apartment part of the aparthotel. Rooms very clean, comfortable and plenty of space. We've also had menu del dia in restaurant. Restaurant was well set out with table cloths, napkins, a sign the staff care about their guests. The food is typically Spanish, which is what you want and is very tasty. The staff were excellent

We stayed in a room at the front of the hotel with great views over the bay. Room was basic but adequate. Be warned. .. there is no air con and Tuesday and Wednesday there is a "singer" at the outside bar til 12.30am!! We ate at the hotel restaurant which was very good. Breakfast is pretty dire.... go elsewhere. Surrounding area has lots of good restaurants and the whole place is great for kids. Bit tricky if you don't speak Spanish as they don't get many Brits. So a decent hotel but get a room away from front !!

Excellent location. Good parking facility. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Small but adequate indoor swimming pool and sauna area (swimming caps must be worn). Clean and very spacious 2 bedroom apartment (room 201). Small balcony but with excellent village and sea views. The downsides to this apartment - very old and the kitchen was extremely run down and falling apart. Small amount of kitchen utensils. Some crockery equipment unacceptable. Uncomfortable and worn out beds and poor condition of living room relaxing furniture. Electrics constantly tripping when trying to cook a family meal. Noisy concrete building.
