It is a very nice hotel. The location was perfect for what we wanted. The room had excellent views of the mountains and was very quiet. The breakfast was reasonable priced and we enjoyed eating there. They only need more people at the reception desk. I had to wait a long time to get my keys reset. Overall, we would enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel to our friends.

This a beautiful hotel in the heart of Morella. It’s more of a place to enjoy their lovely food and stay over after, than a hotel. There is no bar or a place to have a coffee. We couldn’t turn the heating down in our bedroom, which goes against their green policy.

A bit confusing to drive there. The staff is good. The food also great. The room is a bit old but clean. Parking is a bit far

Stopped here for breakfast. Buffet option with coffee and juice only €8. Good selection and excellent value for money

We stayed with our daughter for one night and would definitely stay again. Air con worked brilliantly, room was spacious and immaculate with amazing views of the mountains. The bed was comfortable and nice big shower. Great location

This is a difficult hotel to rate since some aspects are absolutely brilliant while others are a tad lacking. It's a wonderful medieval building with amazing views over the surrounding mountains and right in the heart of the Old Town. There's an extraordinary old stone staircase and our room had beams and fabulous views plus comfortable beds. The staff are very helpful and do their absolute best to ensure you have a decent stay, though at times things felt a little amateurish. For example, we were locked out of our room every single day during our 4 day stay; our key had to be reprogrammed. The water in our shower never really got hot and though the staff did their best rectify this there, was little improvement during the 4 days we were here. Plus the breakfast, well good value, was slightly chaotic. For example every morning we had to ask for bowls and milk so that we could eat the cereal provided. Little things. Dinner menu vg (especially salads, and rice dishes), though maybe some daily variety would be good. This seems like the best bet in town so we'd recommend you stay here, if visiting Morella.

I chose this hotel for the large bed, never understand hotels that offer guests small beds!!||||The room was cozy, warm and comfortable, we had third floor room great views, unfortunately not much sunshine for the night we stayed. ||||We checked with reception before we arrived and on arrival that we would be able to get vegetarian food that evening, dinner does not start until 8:30pm! when we arrived they could not offer us much at all and no one seemed to know about us! eventually we were offered a Spanish omelette and salad, hardly great cuisine but by this time we were hungry and suffering with flu! we said ok, then were given the news that it would take half an hour or more to cook so we had to sit with a plate of salad until it arrived a plate of omelette with nothing else!! hardly top quality restaurant in my opinion. Why they could not have given us options before we arrived at 8:30 I have no idea and not having much Spanish its easier to give up!||||Breakfast was very very poor, we had fortunately a slice of last nights supper to eat with our slice of cheese and toast! no cereal, no salads, no olives no nice touches but plenty of dry sliced meat and packets of biscuits and cake this is not inviting to guests especially being vegetarian. To be fair when we asked for salad they did give us a plate of salad just for us. ||||Staff friendly and I am sure tried to be helpful on the food front. We knew about the parking beforehand and did manage to find the hotel easily and could park close by for a few minutes to unpack, then got a space down the hill a ten minute walk away. ||||Went to the castle would recommend. ||||Lots of touristy shops selling honey, more meat!, cheeses, and some expensive smellies!! ||||Lovely photogenic town.
