Nicely located within Picos near startpoints of hikes. Rooms clean and simple. Food is "mountain style" and good.

They didn’t have any vegan dishes on the menu, but we asked if they could make a vegan pizza. They did their best, and it turned out to be a really good pizza, too.

Just spent a week here with a group of walkers. What a wonderful place! Set in the heart of the Picos, ideal for touring or walking this amazing area. Lovely staff, headed up by Sonia and Juan. Proper "Alpine" feel to the place, I had a spacious room with great views. The food here is stunning and plentiful. I highly recommend this hotel & I can't wait to return.

This was our second visit to this hotel and this time we came independently rather than as part of a large group. The family that run the place are extremely friendly and hardworking. The venue has a real hub of the community feel. The meals were delicious and the Menu de la Casa is excellent value! The cheesecake must be tried if available. The rooms are clean and the location is quiet. Local walking is excellent and for keen cyclists there are challenges to be had. The bar prices are very good and we thoroughly recommend the Ribera wine! We would certainly return.

Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. Our room was street facing and apparently this is the only town in Spain where it gets noisy at 6am. Breakfast selection was very limited, but adequate. However, the dinner there we had was fantastic. It was a very different menu than most places you walk into. We went crazy ordering a bunch of different stuff, and it was all made very very well. I would recommend stopping in here for the food. It's slightly pricey, but absolutely worth it.

We have been staying here with a group of 12 and we truly enjoyed everything about this place. Clean rooms, cheap and good food, cosy outdoor restaurant/bar. A family owned hotel and you immediately sense that. The perfect place for a hiking holiday since the owner has a van to take you everywhere you want to or to pick you up after a day of hiking - this for a fair and reasonable price. The road to this hotel is a beautiful experience as well. I strongly recommend the hotel, the village and the Picos de Europa in general.

We came in for dinner and returned for lunch the next day. Atmosphere is cozy and locals sit in the bar. They have a great choice of salads and meat dishes. They are very friendly despite limited English and even agreed to serve us before official opening time to suit our plans. The house wine is a simple but good choice.

Had a lovely experience at this family run hotel while on a trekking holiday. Good quality food, bar prices are very reasonable and the owner is also a guide who takes you on various tracks.
