Castillo d'Acher is a hotel/restaurant located in Siresa, a tiny town with a lot of stone houses in Hecho Valley, one of the Aragonese Valleys of Pyrenees, in the North of Spain. We stayed in this place during 3 nights to do some hikings in the surroundings. We had dinner the first night and it was very good and very traditional. Also, we had breakfast a coffee with milk and a croissant, ok. The staff was very friendly with us and the room is little for 3 person, but it had all we need to stay 3 nights. The pace is comfortable and quite, and it has very nice views of the town. Very good place to lunch/dinner/breakfast and stay.||(See also Castillo d’Acher restaurant, Hecho Valley, Selva de Oza, Castillo de Acher, Valle de Aguas Tuertas)

I did expect that our stay here would have been more memorable given the reviews which I have seen. The location of the hotel is undoubtedly exceptional and great as a hiking base for the Hecho valley. But the hotel itself, while being solid and functional offers nothing beyond the average. The rooms are spartan, beds soft, and hot and stuffy during the day: the roller shutter had to be closed against the sun and there is no air conditioning. The colonial style fan is not quite up to the task. |As for food...... well nothing out of the ordinary there either. Having seen previous reviews I expected something really good but am disappointed to say the least. To finish, I would say that the hotel is overpriced and overrated - but there is not a lot around in the way of alternatves. I might go back but would certainly see what other alternatives there are first.|Last point concerns the Tripadvisor listing: the hotel is not where the Tripadvisor map puts it. It is in Siresa in the Hecho valley, not near Huesca. The name of the hotel is actually Hotel Castillo d'Acher.

Fine for location. Clean, good service. Can’t go wrong as long as you adjust your expectations. Good breakfast; no custom egg prep but hard boiled eggs. Grumpy service with no English at all. Good Croissant.

We were on a wild life holiday, exploring the Hecho and Belagua Valleys, for which the hotel made an excellent base. Our Bedroom (at the back of the hotel, overlooking hay fields) was fully suitable for our needs, and was well serviced throughout our stay. The restaurant was well set out and provided typical regional food, sourced locally and cooked by one of the owning family. Few of the staff spoke English, but all were friendly and helpful.

A wonderful family run hotel high in the Pyrenees in the Hecho Valley. A great central location for hiking and sightseeing. Rooms were very clean and the meals, breakfast and dinner, included in the price, were good country cooking. They made a great cup of coffee.

Very nice hotel in a lovely little village in the Pyrenees. Very quiet and beautiful scenery. Rooms very good and excellent food. Hope that I can return sometime. No doubt, one of the most peaceful places that I have stayed in.

We stayed at Castillo d'Archer as part of a guided hiking group (Pico Verde). It is a great little hotel with good clean rooms, wonderful mountain air, and an very good restaurant/bar. Siresa is a lovely little town - perfect place to unwind and go for spectacular hikes in the nearby mountains.|

Yelp
A very nice but basic Hostel, also comfortable. Full bar! Did not get a chance to try the food, unfortunately, but the restaurant always seemed busy.
