"Pamplona’s main sights can be seen in two days. This grande dame near the main square puts you in the center of the city."

We passed the evening of 31 decembre with a package for 150 Euros for dinner. No cocktail, no champagne for the beginning, cheap wines, meals without pro presentation. Meanwhile I understand why only 8 tables have been reserved, never again! Like the sign at the entry "dont stop here"!!!

Luxury hotel in a beautifully restored palace, centrally located in the casco antiguo of Pamplona. Great place to splurge after a hard day on the Camino de Santiago.

Incredible hotel. The rooms are gorgeous and the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. They went to great odds to make us comfortable and happy. In addition, the history behind the hotel makes staying there a little bit more special. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic, and the kitchen staff did everything they could to make sure our needs were met. My only complaint would be that the mattresses were merely fine, nothing super comfortable.

This hotel, located on public square was once a palace, and has had a tasteful restoration. There are some antique vehicles on display around the central courtyard and in the grand public staircase (that goes to the restaurant/breakfast area). There is also artwork and antiques on display. The rooms are spacious and nicely appointed. There is turndown service which provides a small bedtime snack. Some of the top floor rooms on the exterior have skylights with remote controlled shutters, shades and window opening. There may also be some noise issues if there are late night revelers in town. The breakfast is quite elegant, with pastries available buffet style. Waitstaff take your order for coffee, toast, and eggs, so you will have to wait for this service. Wonderful treat when staying in Pamplona.

We bring groups to Pamplona, so we work with many of the hotels there. In all my years of dealing with local hotels, I've never had an experience like this... We had an agreement with the manager for a group contract, and he verbally agreed that we could make changes up to 30 days before arrival. When we tried to make the change, he refused, and said we couldn't cancel. So we did our best to fill the extra rooms, and were successful in doing so. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were not able to occupy some of the rooms, because they had double-booked them. We've given them 6 months now to refund us for the rooms and they refuse to do it. Be careful, as they like to double book and keep both parties' money.

Part hotel, part museum. Beautiful lobby and common areas. Room well appointed, but fairly standard.
