Hotel Reutemann-Seegarten

Classical problem regarding the attitude of the personal. Problems with the invoicing. The breakfast is amazing. The bedrooms are well-equipped. Location is perfect to visit the Insel. Two blocks away from the station. Pools are okay, they could be warmer when the weather is low. Check in: 16:00 / Check out: 12:00 It is possible to have also lunch and dinner in the restaurant, with normal prices. Recommend in general terms.

We chose a room with a lake view and were rewarded every morning with stunning views of the lake and the Alps beyond. Comfortable room, lovely staff, excellent breakfast; I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here.

I was interested in hiking in Bregenz. A short stopover while I make my way to Munich. I looked on the map and saw Lindau Incel and thought it looked cute. Lots of shops and restaurants. So I booked here instead. Glad I did! Location was awesome. Staff was so friendly. I got the best show of a red sunset into massive lightning storm. Breakfast was fantastic. And I wasn’t expecting to use the pool, but enjoyed it both days I was there. Definitely will come back!

Never been treated this rude. I am sure these words cannot describe the behavior, but let's try. We had a couple of drinks on the terras. While we were still having our coffees, the waiter (a bald man) came by and told us we couldn't pay with card. He was not nice about this at all. Funny, while at a table over people did pay with card. Also, we hadn't even asked for the check yet as we were still enjoying our drinks and the views. We had wanted to follow up with lunch, but because of this decided to leave. Happy so, because we had to wait about 30 minutes to be able to pay. He just ignored us, then threw the bill on the table and walked of without us being able to pay. Then served a few other tables before finally coming back. When we were done paying, he didn't even thank us,didn't say a word just an angry face and walked of while we still thanked him. For the first time ever thought about making a complaint, but isn't worth my time. The other waiters seemed really nice though, so I would find a table not with this bald man.

I should have read the reviews before we sat down for dinner with the view. We too had the Italian bald guy. Seems his behavior is tolerated. The first thing he told us was that we were in German and should speak German. My wife speaks Italian - which he was happy to speak, if only to be rude in another language. He doubled down with his sour looks and neglect. He did smile when some street performers got into a squabble. Seems the suffering of others can bring a smile to his lips. He should smile all the time because he is certainly causing a lot of suffering. Was very happy to escape. Sad that such a rude and petty individual has ruined good times for so many. Great view - so so food. If you get the Italian bald guy - ask to be seated out of his area.

I stayed here in 2022 and was eager to return. However, service seems to be slipping. Last time all the staff were customer focused, eager to assist. Rooms had mini bars. ||This stay - not so much. We had a waiter who didn’t know the menu yet he had been there a couple months. He bumped into me while setting a plate down. Never had that before at any restaurant. The restaurant manager didn’t seem too eager to listen to my comments. (Truly I was not a Karen, I was letting him know because you can’t fix things you don’t know about). |The rooms are very nice. Bedding is great. Mini fridge is there but no snacks or wine. You can’t just relax before dinner unless you go to a store and pick up things for yourself. |Not worth the price this time.

Amazing setting on the prom of Lake Constance. Our room was lovely with a balcony with the beautiful view. A good restaurant/bar out the front of the hotel where we had drinks and delcious apple strudel. Breakfast the next morning was also excellent. Our only little gripe was when we checked in at the Hotel Reutemann we were told our room was in Hotel Seegarten next door. It was not explained that the hotels are connected by an internal corridor and clear instructions of how to get to our room were not explained. We went on our merrily little way out the front of the hotel turned right on the prom to the Seegarten Hotel however there was no entrance there. We then saw a member of staff who was of no help and seemed to direct us futher along the prom. We ended up at the other hotel in the group who then directed us down the back street back to Hotel Reutemann reception ! Not great as my husband was on crutches. Other than this blip it was a lovely stay.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Bit of a walk for breakfast (to the bayerischer Hof as all 3 Hotels here are connected) because their in-house breakfast place is shut on weekends. However staff extremely polite and courteous. Rooms spotless. I can highly recommend and wouldn’t have a problem going back here.

Had a great meal here on our last night in Lindau. Creative German cuisine, high quality, excellent service. Veal and pork dishes were especially good. And you can't beat the view.
