Hotel Reykjavik Centrum

A lovely hotel. Rooms and common area were clean and welcoming. Bathroom had a heated floorwith toiletries available. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bar was a pleasant place to relax with good beer!||Housekeeping on request was a very good idea.||Everything in Iceland is expensive, so it was good to see that quality was also high. The breakfast was excellent. ||In our opinion the location was perfect. Central enough for access to various activities but far enough away from noise. ||Many of the day trips use a local bus stop just meters from the front door!||We would definitely return to this hotel.

Fantastic stay! Would stay here again. It was clean and immaculate. ||We asked to check in early; we arrived at 7 am, but check-in does not start until 2 pm. They allowed us an early check, and they upgraded our room; the charge was only $40 extra. Well ||worth it to get settled in. ||The front desk staff were so helpful in booking tours for us and offering outstanding recommendations for food and attractions. ||The hotel is close to everything. We walked everywhere. ||We only used the breakfast on our last day. It was ok. ||The only issue we had was that the room was very warm. We turned off the heater, and the front desk gave us a fan. That helped! ||Highly recommend this hotel!

Great location and friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was great, also! The standard rooms are a little small if you are used to big American hotel chains, just a heads up if you are considering a suite.

Amazing hotel. Beds were super comfortable, lovely and warm (and I'm really fussy!) Staff were very friendly and always happy to answer questions. Service of the room is on request which is a brilliant idea no one changes crying every day at home! Breakfast was fresh and ample. We didn't have any issues with noise and we were at the side of the hotel. Stayed for our honeymoon and had a lovely note left in the room and swan towels on the bed. Great location very central and most things just a walk away. Would love to stay again, absolutely loved iceland 🇮🇸 😍

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Reykjavik Centrum! It is located in a great spot with easy access to downtown Reykjavik. There are plenty of restraunts and shopping around. It is a very short walk to Bus Stop 1, which is were most of our tours picked us up at. It is also a pleasant walk to the rainbow road, which has so much to do! The staff was so kind and helpful. They greated us everytime we walked by. They have an excellent breakfast spread every morning. And there is also a nice little bar connected to the lobby. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Absolutely an amazing experience. The staff at the hotel exceeded expectations and where very knowledgable on where to go, where to eat (best prices) and a few tricks to keep costs down.||This is our third return to this hotel over the years and we will be returning in 2027 for a both 60th Birthday.||||The hotel is clean, warm (too warm) for those from Yorkshire ... we keep the heating off :-) ||||Tip: buy your wine and beer at the airport before you go to the hotel - there is a really well stocked store on your way out of the airport.

Stayed here for five nights in early December and everything about the accommodation was quality. |From the welcome received at reception when checking in to the quality and comfort of the room, facilities and bed you know you’re going to have a great stay. ||Friendly and professional staff found nothing too much trouble. |The selection of food at breakfast was staggering and would, I’m sure, cover every taste. ||The hotel is so central that you only have to walk 150 metres or so before you are in a bustling area full of various food and drink venues each serving great quality fare. The city centre is pretty compact too so it’s easy to walk pretty much anywhere. ||Checkout procedure was a breeze too and, because of the hotel’s location near to the stop for collection to catch the airport bus, we were swiftly, and sadly, on our way back en route to the UK promising ourselves a return visit one day. ||Iceland; you have stolen a piece of my heart!

Beautiful hotel in the perfect location, a few minutes walk from Tjörnin lake and Reykjavik City Hall on one side and the Harpa Concert Hall on the other. Lots of cafes and restaurants in the vicinity and most of Reykjavik attractions at walking distance. The included breakfast has a great variety of hot and cold food and everyone is very friendly.|The room has everything needed, very clean and modern. A coffee machine is also available in the room.|We would definitely stay here again on future trips to Reykjavik.
