Hotel Reykjavik Centrum

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Reykjavík Centrum and would definitely give it 5 stars. We stayed in a triple room, which was very comfortable and well organized, offering plenty of space for a great stay. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the city center and within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and main attractions. Everything was spotlessly clean, which made us feel very comfortable from the moment we arrived. The room had a coffee and tea station, which was a lovely touch, especially after a long day exploring the city. The room was also very warm and cozy, perfect for Iceland’s cold weather. Overall, an excellent hotel with great comfort, cleanliness, and an unbeatable location. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Reykjavik.

I loved everything about my stay here. The staff made me feel very welcomed and helped me with any questions I had even before I arrived. The location was perfect to everything I needed to get to. The breakfast in the morning was always very filling and appetizing and perfect way to start each day. I highly recommend adding that to your stay. I would always pick here to stay when traveling to Reykjavík.

Pick it for the location - in downtown Reykjavik (beautifully lit with fairy lights during winter) with lots of traditional houses, close to a main bus stop (for tours) and in walking distance of restaurants and the harbour. This hotel is such a cute place with simple, modern rooms which are quiet at night. To get there from the airport, buy a Flybus ticket (right by the exit in arrivals) and go to bus stop no 1 (city hall) - it’s easy enough and drivers speak English.

My wife and I stopped over in Iceland for a few days on a trip to London. We chose the Hotel Reykjavik Centrum and were not disappointed. The hotel is perfectly located within a short walking distance of the harbor, museums and downtown sights. The staff was warm, welcoming and helpful. There is a lovely lounge and bar to warm up in between walks about. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and our bath and shower were particularly nice. We cannot say enough about Benjamin, the Manager, who promptly addressed some confusion which had arisen concerning our booking with another website. We highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again if the opportunity presents.

Lovely hotel, even though it is an "old" construction everything is so nice and comfortable. What I noticed from other hotels that I stayed previously in Reykjavik is that it was definitely more spacious. It has a excellent location, 10 min walk to basically everything: bars, restaurants, rainbow street. ||Everything was very clean, but cleaning service had to be requested in advance from 7am to 10am. I requested it one day and did not get the cleaning service.||Staff was great, so kind and helpful. ||Cherry on top, happy hour on the hotel bar!

This is a great choice of hotel for a trip to Reykjavic. It’s very near the main square, the tourist areas like the lake and the harbour- perfect location. The rooms are comfortable, the staff are helpful and the breakfast is great. It would cost a lot to buy breakfast in Iceland so important to get it included. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

Amazing hotel. Beds were super comfortable, lovely and warm (and I'm really fussy!) Staff were very friendly and always happy to answer questions. Service of the room is on request which is a brilliant idea no one changes crying every day at home! Breakfast was fresh and ample. We didn't have any issues with noise and we were at the side of the hotel. Stayed for our honeymoon and had a lovely note left in the room and swan towels on the bed. Great location very central and most things just a walk away. Would love to stay again, absolutely loved iceland 🇮🇸 😍
