This comment for their restaurant:
We were hoping to enjoy a nice meal before the opera festival, but thanks to this place, we ended up staying hungry.
My wife ordered the Viennese-style schnitzel, but the meat was very dry and tough, and the oil used was so heavy it burned the throat. The potatoes served on the side hadn’t even been properly cleaned — they were sautéed with visible dirt still on them. We wanted to send the dish back, and the waiter said, “Let me check,” but I told them there was no need — we simply wouldn’t eat it, so just take it away.
The fish and chips were decent, though definitely overpriced. We also ordered soup to start, assuming they would split it into two bowls since we were sharing — they didn’t, but we let that slide. Unfortunately, the soup was disappointing as well. It was meat broth with ravioli, but the meat inside had an unpleasant, strong smell.
When we asked for the bill, a service charge had been added. I asked, “For what service?” and was told, “We showed goodwill by cancelling your meal.” I didn’t want to escalate things further, especially with my pregnant wife feeling upset, so we paid and left.
Zero service, zero flavour. Would not recommend.
