Simply can’t find fault!|Service excellent! Staff super attentive and friendly.|Location couldn’t be better, five minute walk to the middle dividing old and new Benidorm.|Food fantastic! I never needed to eat chips once! Loads of fresh selection and no queues. |Rooms were spotless although the photos on the website don’t do them justice. They are perfect.|Weather was unbelievably good for mid November but not hot enough to swim so can’t really talk about the pool area.||I’ve been to Benidorm 16 times so I think I know what good looks like……this was the best and I will definitely be back here.||Thank you RH Royal!!!

This was our fifth visit to the RH Royal and it wont be our last. There was a friendly welcome from the receptionist who, when giving us the room key stamped it with the hotel logo and told us that as regular visitors we would be entitled to a 10% reduction on drink prices, very nice. The room is comfortable and cleaned daily and tea and coffee replaced. As everyone knows its the food that makes a holiday and the food choices are excellent. Starting with full English breakfast with a different choice of cooked eggs from poached to omelettes all cooked to order, there is even a bottle of chilled prosecco laid on (we had Bucks Fizz with our breakfast, great). The lunch and evening meals did not disappoint with a good range of fish and meat cooked to order by the chef including steaks, tuna, salmon, giant prawns, pork, chicken and lamb chops.|We love this hotel and one of reasons we do is the position, turn right and 200 yards away is the old town centre, cross the road and 500 yards away is the beginning of Cala Gerona the main entertainment area of Benidorm so the choice is yours without traveling too far. We are going back again in May 2026 and cant wait.

Just back from a fabulous holiday at RH Royal in Benidorm. What a lovely hotel with very friendly staff, with a good selection of lovely food and great entertainment. |It was our first visit to this hotel and we will be back!|We were lucky enough to be in a gift room and each day we went back to a surprise in our room - from tote bags to sunglasses and lots more besides (don’t want to give away all the secrets).|The hotel is situated between the old town and the new town ideal for wherever you want to go - we had a sea view with a south-facing balcony and sunshine all afternoon. The pool and sun-terrace with plenty of sun beds and pool side entertainment (with prizes) kept us busy and entertained. |Highly recommend this hidden gem of a hotel - with sister hotel just across the road - RH Victoria where families can enjoy the same friendly atmosphere and we were welcomed to use the facilities. |If you are looking for an adult only hotel where people return year on year then look no further. |Thank you for a wonderful stay - can’t wait to come back x

Just back from another excellent stay at the RH ROYAL, with my husband. food was as good as always, the breakfast is exceptional. Rosi in the dining room is so lovely, The egg man ( still don’t know his name after many visits) is very friendly. our bed was very comfortable, we had a room at the back of the hotel for the first time, it was actually nice to have a quiet room. Alfonso who works behind the bar always recognises us when we visit. Bar prices are very reasonable for hotel prices. All the staff are very hard working & friendly. All in all another fantastic week.

We come to Benidorm every Oct. Group of ladies from 25 to 50's. Do like to try different hotel each time. Stayed at R H victoria last year. So decided to go across the road to the Royal. Checking in was bit of muddled as 7 of us and male receptionist bit confused, who in what room. All got sorted and we all on different floors. Shame as R H Victoria had kept us all on same floor. Hotel view onto street. Good sized room and balconies and lovely and clean. We were unlucky to arrive during storm alice, so not a great week weather wise. Pool.area lovely, but pool was baltic. Much warmer temp in the sea. Animation guy, lovely and friendly. The sleep was good, did have alot of problems with our key cards just not working. One day we went down 3 times, to get entry to our room. Hand soap in bathroom was bit dated. Would have preferred hand dispenser and liquid soap.||Food was good, did have to ask for my oat milk. But staff always happy to help. I think young girl calledJessica . She was super friendly and happy to help with anything we needed in dining room. Didn't eat in hotel much, but something for everyone and akways fresh. ||Last day, we had late flight. This is where hotel let's itself down badly. There is a shower in the gym. Outside. The doors were broken on ladies and not possible to lock door on ladies. So while you in shower, any man could walk in from adjoining gym. My friend would not go in alone and I don't blame her. Alot of female travellers, would not feel happy going in non lockable sliding shower. I did mention it to reception and was just dismissed. But a woman's safety should come highly in a hotel, that has single rooms. A good stay, not ruined by storm alice. Not sure if we would return. Staff def not as friendly or accommodating as R H Victoria.

Just returned from the RH Royal after a 10 day holiday_ my third in the last year.|The hotel is situated near the 'old town' in Benidorm it's nice and busy without being to frenetic.|The hotel has a niced mixed clientele mostly from Spain, UK, Holland and Belgium who all mix well.|A very welcoming reception _ thanks Joaquin, Marcos and Alex |It has a busy , friendly restaurant with an abundance of choice _ I especially enjoyed breakfast! |Special thanks to Rosi and Jessica.|Thank to the entertainment guy Andre for his non stop energy and enthusiasm.|The bar is very busy but I did miss the energy and personality usually provided by Claudia who is now working at the 'sister' hotel across the road.| I might have to start up a petition 'Bring back Claudia' |In previous visit you could use the facilities in the RH Victoria across the road unfortunately that has changed and I would appeal to management to review that decision as it was very popular with the clientele! |Apart from that another fabulous holiday at the RH Royal.

I just want to say first that the restaurant staff at this hotel are fantastic and the food is great. Reception staff were great for most of the time but when the air conditioning broke down on our last night when the reception staff took over an hour after or first phone call down to admit there was a problem so our last night in the hotel were very unpleasant. The room was okay and that's being totally honest. The bed was very firm and was far from comfortable to sleep on for me. Also there was only a sheet and a bedspread on the bed so it was very cold if the a/c was on and you got very hot if the a/c was off (for some reason the highest temperature the a/c could be set to is 18.5 degrees C. The bathroom was nice with a huge walking shower along with a basin, toilet and bidet and the towels were of a decent quality. Bar service could be slow at times but on the most the drinks were okay but in my opinion some drinks were very weak (i hardly drink and even after 3 or 4 drinks I felt no effect, I only really felt any effect from the drinks a cpl of time). One of the main problems we had is there is no where comfortable to sit in this hotel. The pictures the hotel are using are not up to date. We would have stayed the whole time we booked for but we were just very uncomfortable in this hotel, between the lack of any soft comfortable seating in either the room or the public areas. The seating on the terrace did have seat pads on the first night we arrived but these were removed on the first night never to be seen again. Would we stay here again sorry but its a big NO.

Excellent stay at this smaller hotel. It is spotlessly clean. Location is perfect, near to everything, yet not too close. Breakfast was superb. Room was small but compact. We received thoughtful little gifts every morning! A nice touch.

Yelp
Our room was spacious with 3 beds, tv, kettle, fridge etc. Our balcony was huge and wrapped around the corner of the hotel (ask for a x08 room if you want the extra large balcony). The beds and towels were changed daily. There's a safe located inside the wardrobe, this costs €1.50 a night (see staff on the front desk for activation). We stayed half board, the breakfast and evening meals were à la carte and of a high standard. Breakfast consisted of a continental style, toast, rolls, baguettes, croissants etc or eggs, sausages, bacon, beans etc. The evening meals were themed each night and consisted of a good choice of main dishes, salads etc. The pool is quite large and spotlessly clean. The sun loungers are a little packed in and congested around the pool but we always managed to find three going spare. There was entertainment most nights which consisted of a Spanish style two or three piece band playing outside, poolside. Underground parking is quite expensive at approximately €10 a night. Parking outside on the street is congested. The wifi is free but very slow. The location of the Hotel is just a five minutes stroll to the old town and in my opinion the best part of Benidorm. We found the staff to be very friendly, polite and helpful. Everything is of a high standard, clean and modern. I really can't fault this place and will certainly be returning next year.
