I am writing a review with 2 months of delay. I stayed single at this great hotel alone in July 2025 for my Spanish language course at UCV. From the very first seconds of my arrival until my check out everything has been incredible. The welcoming, the "feeling home" comfort, the services, the hygiene, the breakfasts... From réception to cleaning service and breakfast service, everything was wonderful. It was my first time ever staying at a hotel, on the more abroad, alone. The room was incredibly clean every day, bathroom was magnificent, I stayed during excessive heatwave so it was amazing to sleep in a fresh room not to mention that the air condition works wonderfully, I even closed it at nights as my room was fresh enough, the shampoo and hair creams offered in the shower were organic and perfect for my hair, my towels changed every day and the housekeep lady was very lovely. The minibar served fresh drinks even though cold water service is available free of charge 24h at the hotel with a personal, beautiful jug. I put the fresh fruits, manchego, jambon and Basque cheesecakes I bought during my stay in the minibar during that excessive hot week. The bed was so comfortable, I had a great sleep each night. I'd have preferred to stay in a room for 2 as my room was so tiny and I had no balcony, I missed a few nights of fireworks, but I have nothing really to complain about. I have stayed all my life at 4 to 5* hotels in different countries but RH Sorolla Centro literally gave me a 5* experience. The staff taught me daily language phrases in Spanish and in Catalán, gave me lots of tips about the city and asked me every day how my Spanish course was going. I hugged some employees the day I was leaving, i thank them once again for not making me feel alone. Breakfasts were fulfilling with various salty and sweet options. The chocolate filled croissants were amazing and I come from Paris so I especially insist about the fact that they were particularly great. I had fresh fruits, watermelon, juicy oranges, various freshly squeezed juices, tortillas, different types of hams and cheeses, I can only suggest that you opt for breakfast option. The placement of the hotel is incredible too. It's just near the Ayuntamiento and the Xativa metro exit. The bus stop is also just near the corner. I could go to the university easily. Either on foot or by bus. I also walked to mercado central on foot from the hotel, same for Plaza de la Reina which is practically nearby, if you are motivated you can even walk until the gates or Turia as Valencia is a great city to discover on foot and the hotel is at the heart of everything. It is reachable from the airport by one single metro line directly in like 20m. There are so many good rated, authentic non touristic restaurants, bodegas, taquerias, cevicherias just around, so many shops, atms, cinemas and you can also go to the beach from the hotel so easily by taking a direct bus nearby. Even though the streets are very crowed, my room was so calm and silent. What can I say, it was a dream week for me. I know where I'll stay when I go back to beautiful Valencia. Thank you so much for hosting me ❤️ Greetings from Paris!
