The hotel is well situated and comfortable. Big advantage is the spa you have access as hotel guest.|The service for the restaurant is the biggest issue. That’s a pity as the food was good.|We had an early reservation for Saturday night dinner for 4. When we arrived they assigned us our table, nearby a big table with young kids and noisy. We asked if we can change to the next table (same view nearby the window, same room just one table away from the noisy table). No way, the table we were looking at was reserved by THE director and the waiter could not decide for the swap. We asked to have a table in the other room but again not possible as they were fully booked. Seeing our scepticism, he told us to wait for the director who was one table away with other customers. We had to wait for 10 minutes before THE director agreed to come to see us and he had more urgent topics to deal with rather than attending customers requests. Another explanation, again strict refusal because the customer from the day before wanted the same table.|Remember same table for 4 just parallel to the one assigned to us in the same room with the same view. We started to explain how unbelievable the situation was but we faced the inflexibility from THE director. He explained me with several “my friend, …my friend,” that the table was assigned for customers who were staying 3 nights… I guess because we were staying only 2 nights we, as customers, did not have any right for simple care and attention. As we did not understand the logic he told us that if we were not happy we could always have dinner elsewhere!!!! Sic !!!!|We finally had a table in the other room, the restaurant was far to be full as we stayed until 10:00 pm despite what we were told earlier.|What a disappointment as the food was good but the service quality, customer care and attention to customer was one of the worst I have ever seen.|We did not felt welcome, it is true that we were not German speaker and I wondered if being able to explain in German would have helped…|I waited 48 hours to write this review as I did not want to write anything under anger. Again, it is true that they do not need customer as the Spa and the location gave them a premium commercial position but arrogance and lack of customer care is something that shall be banned from any hotel and restaurant.
