Hôtel Rimouski

Great stay, very clean, with nice river view. The room was large and comfortable with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The shower was great. The lobby area was nice. We had planned to eat in the restaurant but we found the prices looked a little too high so we went to the nearby Pacini’s. I really appreciated getting a phone call as soon as they noticed that I had left my chargers in the room. We hadn’t got far and were able to return for them. I’ve never been contacted for a forgotten item before. I’ve always been calling to try to track my things down. (It happens more often than it should!🥴) Good, friendly service. We would happily stay again.

One of the nicest hotels in North America. It's in a great location, overlooking the St. Lawrence River. The suites are spacious and well appointed with elegant furnishings. I spent two nights here and had great sleep both nights (wish I had stayed longer). The soundproofing is excellent. The bathroom is luxurious, with elegant toiletries, as are the very comfortable beds. Very fast internet. All the above, at a fantastic price. If you are visiting Rimouski, this is the place to stay.

We got this hotel last minute. We had no expectations. We were pleasantly surprised upon entering as from outside looked old and dated. They have updated rooms and we were pleased with size and comfort. It was clean and quiet. We had a nice sunset view from 5th floor.|Lobby was nice but carpets could be replaced .

Excellent hub for travellers and tourists, located in the middle if a busy area near shops and restaurants. There is a but of wear of the old part of the hotel but they are modernizing and building a brand new side. Restaurant Red Roof is a good place to try fresh seafood awesomely prepared.

Decent for what it is. Front desk staff are amazing and friendly. Other guests a bit rude to foreigners likely due to localism. Cleaning staff super unfriendly made this 3star and not 4star. Cleaning rooms daily would be nice but not sonething they do.

2 stars at best, rooms seem renovated, shower head had mold, maintenance and plumbing lack, toilet stopped working after the first flush and then worked periodically after their fix, the toilet made random noises during the night, water always flowing from the toilet even after 2h, random plumbing noises in the room woke us up often as we are light sleepers. Pool was much smaller than expected water not transparent and did not look clean, weird foam like green water coming out of the slide, a very strong chlorine odor right upon entering the hotel. At 300+$ per night I was expecting more. Outside, inside lobby furniture and areas looked very rundown and old, very big disappointment from the pictures, not a 4*, such a disappointment. I don’t understand the positive reviews. Not a good value at all.

My wife and I went for playoff hockey games the last weekend of March. We speak little to no French and everyone at the hotel was amazing. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The restaurant had one of the best brunch buffets we have ever had. The rooms were very nice for the price. The location is convenient and everything is a short drive away. They even have a pretty cool indoor pool for kids that is used all year round. This is one of my favorite hotel experiences I have had in a long time. We will definitely be back! For the people who haven't been to Rimouski yet, it is a very nice city in the winter and I'm sure it's even nicer in the Summer. The people were friendly and everyone was happy to see tourists in the winter. From what I gathered talking to the locals it is definitely easier to get by now without speaking French but they always appreciate the effort. I definitely recommend checking out Rimouski and staying at this hotel!

If you're staying for more than a night there is a lovely walking/biking path along the waterfront just across from the hotel. Indoor pool has a slide for the kids, hot tub for the adults!

3.5/5 From a recent stay I would proclaim this to be one of the nicer if not nicest hotels while in Rimouski. It does seem like the largest in Rimouski. Previously I had stayed here in January 2014 and most recently in August. What's great about the hotel: - Very large spacious and lots of spaces to lounge around - Bar and restaurant available in the hotel - great location right across the street from the Rimouski boardwalk with great walking/running/bike trails. - pool, hot tub, - ample parking both front and back - lots of meeting room space for functions. What's so so: -decor is dated and a tad old in lobby and hotel rooms - feels like the hotel could use a good refresh into the year 2000 to modernize - WIFI is spotty at times. Put a code on it to prevent freeloaders moochers off the WIFI. What is on the poor side: - when you open the bathroom door it hits the toilet - bathrooms are small Overall it's not a bad experience but definitely could be better.
