Hotel Rio Karlsruhe

The Hotel is located nicely in central Karlsruhe. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained. Staff is super friendly and the breakfast option is up to the standard.||There is, however, no AC working. "It is not hot enough". There was 26 degrees celsius in the night in my room and no AC. Opening windows is also not an option as downstairs there are people smoking, so you either choose to be smoked or bowled.||The soap/shampoo/lotion are slightly below standard, the containers were 3/4 empty and there was no hair lotion. No typical hotel slippers, too. ||In general this is a 2-3 star solid standard. If you get a fair price, it is worth staying at, but avoid in summer.

Great Hotel with welcoming service, friendly personal and inhouse parking garage. Wonderful rooms, mini bar and decent prize and rich, yummy breakfast buffet. Night concierge also served drinks for a last round. Always again, when in town.

It's a very good hotel for a city like Karlsruhe. The staff are really friendly and smiling. They agreed to let us leave our luggage in their hall for the whole day before and after our night at the hotel. Everything in the room was clean, tidy and thoughtful. And if there is the slightest problem, they are very responsive and helpful in sorting it out. We would recommend this hotel as very good value for money.

Nice hotel a couple of steps from the city center. I had the chance to stay in both a business room and a standard one: both of them were absolutely clean, tidy and big enough according to the cost. The staff has been very friendly and kind, especially at the reception. The only downside was the view from the window/balcony, not great.

The hotel is located very close to the city centre. It has a good garage in case you’re coming with a car. I had an issue with the pillow. For me it was too low and soft. Unfortunately the reception conversation went very strange and I got a second set of sheets and another of the same pillow. I had a neck pain all the time. I’ve been to better hotels In Karlsruhe. This one is not there or, but can’t compare with the best.

We have been guided well from the location of the garage and our rooms. We were well inforled about the main and comfirt building and where their restaurant is in the lain building. The room was spotless clean and the service here has been very nice. Breakfast was great and everything was freshly made. Definately would suggest this hotel.

Friendly people, my room had AC but not all of them do

quiet possible THE best hotel i've been to !! i've been to many hotels , even 5 stars , but this one beats it all , they have charming rooms , it's so quiet you can hear a pin drop, room with a smokers terrace for my friend to just smoke one outside the room on our terrace , nice big shower ! i'm handicapped , and i got a shower chair , cleanliness was outstanding ! as in absolutely everything was tip-top in order ! hotel staff is verrrry family like , extremely friendly , but relaxed , it's not a fake smile or a fake friendliness you see at a lot of hotels with burnt out staff , these actually were a lot of fun to talk with as well , hotel reception , cleaning staff , restaurant staff , all deserve a bow of gratitute for it ! they have a team that the owner can be proud to have run this place ! i'm the only one of the 3 of use that spoke ( albeit partially ) german , but they all speak perfect English as well, and when i tried to speak german , i know i make a lot of mistakes , they'll help and correct you in a respectfull manner as well ! we arrived late ( 10pm / 22:00u ) due to a 9 hour trip with a loooot of traffic , and they have 24/7 check in , which is ,,,, and i can't say this enough, what a hotel needs , so many hotels we've been to had check in hours that ended at like 7-8pm , so if you're late , had car trouble or a canceled train , you'd be in trouble , not here ! price wise , verrry affordable , in every pricerange , we booked for 3 people for a night's stay , and it comes in at a price you usually pay for a single to mayyyybe a 2 if you're at a run down place , parking on site , mini bar is verrrrry reasonably priced , for the 1st time ever , i've used the minibar hahaha , breakfast is also a feast , lots of freshly baked breadware , eggs , bacon , sausages , deli , a huge assortiment of tea's , a waiter to help out , in general , if you're looking for a perfect nice hotel with quiet rooms , this is the place , we'll defffffinitly be back !
