Hotel Rio Karlsruhe

The Hotel is located nicely in central Karlsruhe. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained. Staff is super friendly and the breakfast option is up to the standard.||There is, however, no AC working. "It is not hot enough". There was 26 degrees celsius in the night in my room and no AC. Opening windows is also not an option as downstairs there are people smoking, so you either choose to be smoked or bowled.||The soap/shampoo/lotion are slightly below standard, the containers were 3/4 empty and there was no hair lotion. No typical hotel slippers, too. ||In general this is a 2-3 star solid standard. If you get a fair price, it is worth staying at, but avoid in summer.

This was a one night stop off, but should have been longer, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the Hotel was very clean and tidy, the Staff were very polite and professional, ideally located for city shopping, bars and restaurants.

Great Hotel with welcoming service, friendly personal and inhouse parking garage. Wonderful rooms, mini bar and decent prize and rich, yummy breakfast buffet. Night concierge also served drinks for a last round. Always again, when in town.

It's a very good hotel for a city like Karlsruhe. The staff are really friendly and smiling. They agreed to let us leave our luggage in their hall for the whole day before and after our night at the hotel. Everything in the room was clean, tidy and thoughtful. And if there is the slightest problem, they are very responsive and helpful in sorting it out. We would recommend this hotel as very good value for money.

Nice hotel a couple of steps from the city center. I had the chance to stay in both a business room and a standard one: both of them were absolutely clean, tidy and big enough according to the cost. The staff has been very friendly and kind, especially at the reception. The only downside was the view from the window/balcony, not great.

The hotel is located very close to the city centre. It has a good garage in case you’re coming with a car. I had an issue with the pillow. For me it was too low and soft. Unfortunately the reception conversation went very strange and I got a second set of sheets and another of the same pillow. I had a neck pain all the time. I’ve been to better hotels In Karlsruhe. This one is not there or, but can’t compare with the best.

It was an amazing stay. we loved the arrangements.
