Hotel Ristorante Aquila & Edelweiss

The hotel still had spring stop but I was allowed to spend the night. The hotel has been refurbished in a nice, somewhat classic style. Superb shower and good bed, everything a cyclist want! And a very nice and gentle manager, Claudio. Thanks!

Family owned and right on the main street. Small but lovely room with balcony. Son Claudio is a gem and speaks English if you need to. Excellent restaurant and very accommodating with bicyclists.

The hotel is claimed that has 4 stars but to my opinion is not worth the stars. The rooms are okey but there is no AC to control the air therefore to refresh the room you need to open a window and outside there is noise 24/7. We couldn’t sleep the whole night as local store nearby played loud music until 5am. The breakfast is one for the books to be forgotten!! No breakfast options at all. There were no eggs options so we asked for scrambled eggs and instead we got over cooked really bad scrambled eggs. Next we asked for a double espresso which we wait to arrive the whole breakfast time ( it didn’t ) then we decided to ask for one on our way out by the bar and after my husband finished it the bar lady asked him for the room number to charge it to. Really? Is not about the money but they could inform in advance that is not included in the breakfast and leave on us to make a decision if we will buy or not. Not recommend!

Hi!|My 27 yr old daughter and I spent 24/12/17 at this restaurant .||We had made a call to see what was on the menu, and since this restaurant was recommended by another restauranteur, we decided to reach it!|The dining area was very chic, the staff and the owner were extremely pleasant.|The food was great. I loved the way it was displayed and the rich taste of each single platter. The spaghetti with alici and breadcrumbs was excellent. |Just perfect!|Thank you!

I have been riding my bicycle a few times in the Parco Nazionale della Sila and I stayed for the second time in Hotel Aquila & Edelweiss. I am sure I will come back. I found this hotel and restaurant an excellent place for my stay in La Sila. The owner has an outstanding attitude in hospitality and made me feel very welcome. Being a cyclist I can appreciate the gorgeous, always varied meals, which were served to a cyclist's need.||The room was very comfortable and really up to nowadays standards, what more would I need after a challenging ride through La Sila ? La Sila: a cyclist paradise.||The owner has helped me a lot to find the most interesting routes including the quiet roads to arrive in Camigliatello.||Leendert van Staalduinen, ciclista Olandese.

Personale a modo, ma tutto il resto è da rifare. Camere con mobilio vecchio e decadente. L’asciugacapelli in dotazione, imbarazzante del 1518. Richiesto uno in reception, prontamente mi hanno risposto che sarebbe arrivato a breve ed invece non è mai arrivato e mai mi hanno avvisato. Hanno rubato degli stemmi ad alcune delle nostre moto posteggiate davanti hotel. Cena e colazione abbondante ma qualitativamente scarsa. Non lo consiglio e non ci tornerei. Qualità prezzo insufficiente. Ottima la posizione.

Qualità, cortesia e pulizia sono i punti di forza di questo hotel oltre alle specialità del ristorante.|Soddisfatti in ogni senso con professionalità. Abbiamo festeggiato il compleanno del mio compagno come fossimo in famiglia. Inoltre comodo per avventurarsi verso i sentieri della magnifica Sila !!!!|Torneremo, preferibilmente in questo periodo con i colori e i profumi della Sila, e certamente in questo hotel.
