Hotel Ristorante Magdalener Hof

We arrived to a smile from the lovely welcoming receptionist, got to put our motorbikes in a secure parking which was important to us. All hotel staff were good apart from 1 man who seemed to be angry and not enjoying his days work. Garden was lovely, pool was nice although didn’t go in it. Room was comfy but we opened the window and it was on the road… would have been nice to be not so loud outside but for 1 night was ok. Food service and food general was amazing both evening meal and breakfast was your basic buffet style. Good for a weekend or 1 night stay we had on our motorbike tour. Rooms were comfy and bathroom was lovely with coffee machines which made up for busy road outside the window.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was very well organized, the staff was friendly and professional, and the atmosphere was calm and welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, which made our experience even better the room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had a great view. The entire stay was smooth and relaxing. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and the quality of the service. Highly recommended, and we’d love to come back!

One of my best hotel stays of all time (and I’ve stayed at many)! Our first stop in the Dolomites was Bolzano. We stayed for one night at Hotel Magdalener Hof and we were blown away. After parking on the side of the hotel, we walked into the charming lobby where you’ll see a painting of Magdalener. The check-in process was easy and the lady working took us to our room. We passed by the elegant restaurant and the bar. All of it was great and the rooms are even better. It’s luxury at its finest. A beautiful bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower. All of the toiletries you need (which isn’t a given in Europe). The bedroom is just as nice with a comfortable bed and a nice patio where you can see a breathtaking view of the mountains and relax when the weather cooperates. The complimentary bottle of water was a nice touch too. The breakfast (which is included) is more than a typical Italian breakfast. Thank you for the German influence here. Various deli meats, scrambled eggs, bread, desserts, fruits, cereal, and more are available at the buffet along with coffee and fresh juice. My biggest complaint is that we only stayed one night. And since we arrived late, we didn’t get to enjoy the hotel as long as we would have liked. This is the type of hotel where I would gladly stay for a week or longer. I’ve been to many hotels in my day and Hotel Magdalener Hof is one of the best. While it’s not in the center of Bolzano, we walked to downtown Bolzano at night (which took about 20-25 minutes). If you don’t like to walk like us, you’re looking at a short drive (five minutes or so). While being in the center of the action would have been nice, being away from it made for a quieter and homier experience.

I had such a great stay here! The staff were realllyyyy nice — super friendly and helpful, truly the best 💖 The room was cozy, clean, and just lovely. I felt so comfortable and relaxed. The bathroom was spacious with strong water pressure (so good!). I had a genuinely good time. Big compliments to the amazing staff and the great room 🙌

Great place to stay. Small staff that remembers everything about you during the stay. Out of the bustle of the town, but the city buss pass makes it very easy to get around with a stop right outside of the hotel. The restaurant is great and very reasonably priced.

Wow.... So friendly and helpful people. We were feeling so welcome already in the phone booking the rooms. Rooms are not.lage, but have it all and are well made. We will be back. And once again, so friendly staff!

Location is away from the city centre where all the fun is. Not as per the pictures. The staff is not up to standard and rude. They do not have the basics of customer handling skills. Many other better places to stay at Bolzano. Price is very high compared to value.
