Hotel Ristorante Pocho di Marilù

For the price, you get tasty food, but the portions are very small. For 20€ for a main dish, you would expect not to leave feeling as hungry as when you arrived. If you spend triple that amount, you will likely be satisfied.

I only ate there. It is expensive and you obtain nothing! But if you want overpriced ice with aperol spritz ( literally) go there. Unbelievable. spagetti for 20€ and nothing. ex

We had such an amazing experience at Pocho. The staff is welcoming and kind and the waiters were attentive. We had a dinner with a group of people and the food was great and tasty. We also decided to spend a night there. The rooms are quite nice and the view is amazing. The breakfast has a great selection of Sicilian savouries and sweets. Highly recommended.

The staff is rude. The food is absolutely expensive and small portions and not that tasty! I can do spaghetti a lot better! It was spaghetti with octopus, but only 4 pices of 1cm of octopus on the entire plate! The room is under the ground and is very humid inside and there is a bad sewage smell coming from the bathroom! The shower drain was plugged and had to do 1 minute shower in order not to get water in the entire bathroom! The view is nice but the value for the money not worth it! Overrated and overpriced! Will not come back again!

Marilú Terrasi runs a wonderful place with a team of delightful staff. All kind, professional and helpful. |The hotel is fine, without fancy frills but spotless and neat. |The “menu of the day” restaurant is outstanding. The gourmet meals carefully planned and supervised by Marilú, with fresh local ingredients are exquisitely presented. |The wine list is excellent. Daily aperitifs (included in the daily dinner menu) are always tempting. Very nice breakfast. Small lunch on request. Lovely swimming pool supervised by Francesco the lifesaver, who helps with umbrellas, chairs and drinks. Lovely views, particularly of sunsets. We spent 3 nights here in April and realised very quickly what a superb holiday this hotel and restaurant provides. Views of the Med are simply amazing with the shades of blue and turquoise from the sea and sky giving an instant calming effect. The palate of colours displayed by the spring flowers along the coast is almost a complete spectrum. Just wonderful. ||This idyllic location is matched by the variety and quality of the food. Surely the cuisine can not be bettered anywhere in Sicily.||To say the hospitality and friendliness of all the staff matches the standard of the meals and scenery is no exaggeration.||My wife and I are definitely returning next year.

Disappointing. We ate and stayed here, and both experiences were a real let down. From rude, cold staff leaving us feeling uncomfortable, to our babies 'mattress' being a broken lumpy and completely unusable piece of foam. The pictures of the rooms are very deceptive, they are small and worn. The pool is a great plus, with a gorgeous view and it's well kept. Sunset on the terrace is also beautiful. We paid a ridiculous price for the room and for dinner - neither was worth it.

So....you can't beat the view. Away from the crowds, stunning view from the terrace. The hotel feels authentic and romantic. Room was clean and fine...no contemporary walk in shower, but all was good and air con works. Staff lovely and the only hotel that booked me a taxi that wasnt a rip off. The breakfast was generous and I eat the best food the whole stay in their restaurant.

On your way to San Vito Lo Capo? I was actually, but stopped a few kilometers earlier at Pocho Hotel and got a fantastic experience. My Room was nothing fancy, the last there was. But the rest. Situated by a beautiful bay with the waves rolling in with Monte Cofano right at your sight. Even the top of Eriche is seen from the terasse. The people running Pocho are extremely nice and friendly and help you out of interest. This place is a scoop.
