Hotel Ristorante Unione

We have travelled Europe for the last 6 weeks ( Hubby and I) with a variety of tour groups and without a doubt this is the best hotel we have stayed in! The space, shower pressure and water temperature, fridge, air conditioning- all WAY above what’s on offer in majority of other 3 star hotels in Europe. The staff were SO polite and would go out of their way to help with anything- including when I asked for an iron to iron just a few things instead of paying for laundry. Super clean and newly renovated rooms. Super close to the city centre and has a local co- op supermarket just over the road that offers everything like Woolworth or Coles back in Australia! Amazing and would happily recommend and stay again.

A great location, beautiful views, great staff. Our room had a balcony with a view of all three castles, especially beautiful at night.We were very fortunate to find this. We found this hotel after cancelling our reservation at Hotel Internazionale .

Great little hotel on our roadtrip from Nice to Denmark. The staff was nice and quick to check us in and was very kind to suggest places to see and go during our short stay. Room was perfect for our family and had a great view of the Castle in the distance. Only downer of the stay was the aircondition not functioning. We could hear it being turned on, but the room was boiling all night. But other than that a great stay, that also offered gluten-free bread in the breakfast restaurant, amazing.

Clean, great staff, walkable to many tourist attractions. Pet friendly.

Spent two non consecutive nights here, and have stayed on other occasions. Good comfortable family-run hotel ideally located near the historic centre of Bellinzona. There is a lift. The rooms have air conditioning and balconies. Some rooms have stunning views of the famous three castles which are close to the hotel.Very good restaurant serving Italian cuisine, with a decent wine list. They happily produced a fine meal when we arrived after 9 pm . There is a garden at the front where food and drink are served in good weather. Decent breakfast. Large (paying) car park nearby A good choice for stopping over or visiting the sights.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Unione. The Hotel is right in the centre of Bellinzona 5-10 minutes from the railway station and right next to one of the castles. ||The Hotel itself was very nice. Pretty sure it had been recently renovated as the room was very clean and well decorated. Not massive, but plenty of space. It was equipped with a Safe, a mini fridge, a coffee machine and a hair dryer. The bathroom was spacious with a good shower. The air conditioning was excellent.||I didn’t eat in the restaurant, but I did have breakfast. Not a massive choice but plenty to choose from and it all tasted good.||The staff were very nice. I arrived well before check in time and it was no problem to leave my bag until later.||Overall, very happy and consider it was quite good value.
