We stayed for two nights and were very satisfied with the service throughout our stay. All of the staff were friendly, and I’d especially like to give extra praise to the employees working at the pool bar. Thanks to them, we were able to enjoy a truly relaxing and enjoyable time. The buffet was decent, although the daily menu was quite similar each day. That said, there was still a wide variety of food options, and the beverage service was very good. One evening, we made a reservation at one of the restaurants, and the different atmosphere made it a very enjoyable and satisfying dining experience. We also loved spending our evenings watching the nightly performances. Although we didn’t get a chance to visit it, the fact that there is a 24-hour sports bar is very appealing. The selection of alcoholic beverages was excellent, allowing us to enjoy a wide variety during our stay.

Hotel is set in a stunning location, the food choices are very good. We stayed over Xmas and new year and the gala dinners were exceptional. All the bars and restaurants are very good, clean and serve great food and premium drinks. All of the staff from servers to housekeeping and gardeners are hard working, cheerful and always eager to offer greetings. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for something excellent, set in a stunning location

Stayed here all inclusiveu at the end of November 2025. A modern well appointed and very clean hotel. The staff are plentiful and very courteous. Modern nicely decorated rooms with balcony and large screen tv. The food choices are excellent and the inclusive alcoholic drink selection includes the likes of Johnnie Walker, Beefeater etc. Tea and coffee, cakes and biscuits always available at the reception area coffee bar. The main hotel bar has evening entertainment from singer guitarists and a non professional DJ, however it was disappointing that the entertainment in this area finishes at 9:30pm. The free WiFi in the hotel area was excellent but I was not able to get this on the beach in front of the hotel. No shortage of sunbeds and parasols on the beach.

Two years in a row visiting this property and I am wowed by the improvements. Things were good last year but they are 10x better this year. All of the staff are exemplary and seem to genuinely like working on the property. The bellman and front desk of a property are the first line and the front desk staff at Riu Palace are personality stars, especially Gérald and Benedict. I believe the biggest improvement was in the dining. The flavor of everything has improved significantly. I looked forward to going to every meal in the main dining area. I dont even waste my time getting reservations at the specialty restaurants. Im sure they are still good but the buffet option are just yum yum yum. Particularly their dim sum, ramen, sushi, and Poke bowls created by Ronaldo Cletus 10x better than last year. I ran into ecutive chef Gujan from Sri Lanka and had to applaud him for what he is doing. I had no idea there was a Riu in Sri Lanka. I will be looking it up now. Thank you for another superb trip.

5/5 - great location, amazing food - all inclusive buffet with great variety and taste and also several a la carte restaurants (recommending Krystal for fine dining), friendly hotel service (from reception, through cleaning, restaurants, cafeteria and bars), clean and modern room (we had one with sea view #52XX). Beach directly in front of the hotel gets windy (perfect for kitesurfing - ION provides perfect services for sports), but just few steps away (over the corner) you get calm and clean spots for relax, swim and snorkelling - and depending on the tide, even for long walks in the ocean. Download RIU app for more info (sometimes its response time is slow, but that will be fine-tuned soon I believe) :) RIU Palace is adults only, but should you have friends with kids - you can share the experience with them should they stay with RIU Turquoise (hotel literally next door). The view on the Le Morne Brabant while swimming, sunsets, the luxury of being careless .... a stay that will become part of your core memories!

Overall, the stay was okay, but the price–performance ratio was absolutely not acceptable. Paying over €300 for one night is far too much for what is offered. The food was tasty, which is one of the few positive aspects. Unfortunately, the organization and management are a complete disaster. I had to wait two full days before toothpaste was finally brought to my room. When I called to ask about it, I was laughed at on the phone and told that there was no toothpaste available anymore. The problems continue at check-in: you can expect to wait more than one hour for your luggage to arrive in the room. If you want to shower immediately after arrival, I strongly recommend taking your luggage with you during check-in. Overall, it feels like the staff is overwhelmed, which results in poor service and an unpleasant experience. For this price, I expected much better organization and professionalism.

Excellent vacation! I was here with a group of 27 people. We had a blast! Special shout out to Gayan the Executive Chef for his vision in providing an excellent new menu and delicious food. Also to Kavish in the bars who made our group very happy! Nafisat and Sneha in the dining room who was also pleasant and knew our nightly drink requests plus Gerald at the front desk who always had a song in his heart! Coming back again in 2026!

Good hotel but service need to improve. Room service takes 1.5 hours just to bring a dental kit this morning. Waiters take 20+ minutes to bring you a drink once ordered. Our luggage gets left at reception and when questioned they tell us to come back to reception to show the bags when the bags were already clearly labeled for which room number they belong to.
