Hotel Riu Palace Tropical Bay

Great resort. Has 5 restaurants including the buffet that has a good collection. Three pools all very clean and a nice size. The entertainment is great! The staff is very friendly and overall I would recommend it. It’s about an hour and a half from the airport but the water is different. The beach is much cleaner and the water is very clear. Worth the trip.

The hotel is set on a beautiful stretch of beach. Amazing sunsets. Its was clean and well presented and our room was lovely. Even though it wasn't beach facing we still had a view of the beach from our balcony. All the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Food was amazing and varied. Good gym.

Fantastic Holiday|We have just returned from the Rui palace tropical bay and we can highly recommend this resort. The ground are are kept lovely. The rooms are very spacious and cleaned daily with the mini bar refreshed daily.|I traveled with my daughter and grandson who is 11. The entertainment team are out of this world on the go all the time with big smiles on their faces A big thank you to you all Samon Coco spotlight Diamond Zeus Toni Oshane and the team. You were a big part in us having a fantastic time and we thank you all. Their energy is outstanding Spotlight your knowledge of Jamaica is a credit to you your singing is amazing We will miss you all|Serval Twain and Dariel in the outside Buffet served us each morning and lunch with Dariel and Twain decorating your tables for what ever occasion your were celebrating evening sending you off with a safe flight table. Derval Dariel and Twain we thank you for how you kept our drinks coming love you all. Venessa on the beach walked miles bringing our drinks by the sea always with a smile on her face.|The food was very nice with plenty of choice. We have definitely put on a few pounds.|A big thank you to you all we are certainly coming back. Stunning location, top shelf drinks and food out of this world. Steakhouse and Italian are amazing! The white party party , neon party and beach party are a must on anyone’s list! Did catamaran to Ricks , snorkelling, cave swimming and Margaritaville definitely great value. Also YS falls and Black river safari is simply beautiful. You won’t regret booking here. Shout out to Twain and Derval getting our breakfast table ready each day and Romain at the bar always looking after us. Spotlight deserves to be on Broadway with his infectious energy and personal touch. Rooms are perfect and if you can get one overlooking the beach at sunset you are in for a treat. it is worth any upgrade. What can experience this has been. 100% will be back

When I say gorgeous, peaceful and refreshing this property is everything that comes to mind. My family and I stayed here from 7/6-7/9 and nothing fell short of amazing. From the amazing staff when checking in was so welcoming, the staff for breakfast through dinner was exceptional. Oh and the groceries (food) was amazing! You would think buffet style as thrown together food but not at the Hotel Riu. You will find groceries suitable for any palate. If you like to do a little sipping, there are at least 4-5 bars on the property that you would never go without a drink. Mini bar in the rooms with red label, white (gin & vodka) and rum. The fridge has beer, tonic water, cold drinks and plenty of Wata. Staff comes by daily to clean and a bar refresher. Beautiful white sand beach with a view at sunset you could print on a Hawaiian shirt. As the saying goes "Out of many, one people" Jamaica will always have my heart. It seems the sun shines brighter, the waters are healing, the energy and culture is everything! Even though I paid to be here, Hotel Riu thank you for having us!

I booked this resort which was recommended my long time travel agent Robyn Ayers of Dream Makers Vacation Services. She’s never let me down! We loved RPTB! I brought my 18 and 15 year old daughters and my daughter’s boyfriend. The staff here is amazing! So friendly, fun and helpful! The beach is beautiful! The food and drinks are good. The gym was great! Loved the jerk hut on the beach. Pools were nice. Kids loved beach volleyball and the beach party was fun. Was nice to go to Riu Negril for the neon party as well. We didn’t want to leave!!

I had sudden availability for 5 nights vacation. Starting by choosing location, when by accident found this resort. We spent fantastic time at RIU Tropical Bay. We are not newbie for such a vacationing resorts, but this one was exceptional for food, quality and cleanliness!!! Staff are amazing, friendly people!!! It was wonderful vacation with great beach and clear water!!! Will definitely come back!!! Thank you ❤️

We came to Tropical Bay on a big family holiday and we had the best time. The staff on this holiday really made it for us. Samoy and Coco from the entertainment team were always chatting to us and had a lovely friendly vibe, and Richard at the pool bar made the best fruity cocktails. Krystal in the Daiquiri Bar looked after us every evening and made the smoothest daiquiris ever. Donavon at scuba caribe is a great dive instructor and really made all of our party feel confident in the water. ||||The weather in Negril surprised us, with it being cloudy / stormy / rainy most afternoons after about 2pm. This just meant if you wanted to use the on site paddleboards etc it was definitely best to get them early on in the morning.||||The walk up to the Riu Negril was lovely with lots of wildlife in the water and some stalls selling Jamaican crafts and souvenirs on the beachfront.
