Hotel Riverton

The hotel was generally clean and OK standard. But our overall experience was unfortunately not so positive. The room price each night was not cheap, hence below disappointments:||1. Normal check-out time for all the hotels I have visited is 12:00. At Riverton they had introduced 11:00 rule, and wanted to have 250 SEK each rooo/hour in case of delay.||2. The hotel is advertising with swimming pool and training facilities (gym) on their web page. At the hotel, they wanted to charge 500 SEK/person for the usage og swimming pool, and 75 SEK/person to use the gym. This things are normally included for the hotel guests. ||3. We wanted to park a car. The hotel did not have free space in the parking for the hotel, nor any deals with reduced fees. We ended ut paying full price for parking the car.||Al in all, the hotel has physical scandinavian standard, but the service is at well poor level. They want to charge for every service, which reminds me of poor contries (without mentioning any). There are better hotels in Göteborg. Avoid this hotel, as long as the level of service is as mentioned.

The staff and facilities at Hotel Riverton are exceptional. We ate at View Skybar and Restaurant twice during our week-long stay. The view is amazing, the food is outstanding and the staff are so friendly and professional. We stayed in an apartment which was spacious, well set up and extremely comfortable. We celebrated our daughter's 26th birthday in Gothenburg. The reservation staff had noted this and really went out of their way to make sure we could celebrate with champagne and chocolates as gifts and a message from the hotel owners. Hotel Riverton is a great hotel in a great location, close to the Steniplan Pier and tram stop and a short 10 minute walk into the centre of Gothenburg.

Outstanding breakfast buffet and service. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Next time I will not book via booking. com, the room was facing the Air condition in the middle of those buildings. All in all a great experience. Love to come back.

Fantastic stay. Longer stay so I was upgraded to a junior suite with plenty of space for 1 person. Lots of amenities in the room and additional pillows etc provided. Staff very friendly and always helpful. Great location to trams, city centre etc Gym is decent for a hotel Breakfast fresh, great selection a highlight

Lovely hotel. I did get an upgrade to a junior suite as I staid longer. Big rooms. Comfortable bed and pillows but you can request different ones if those are not to your liking. Plenty of amenities |The staff was wonderful always available to help or answer questions|Quiet. Could not hear people in rooms next to me. Great for tram, ferry connections and the town centre

We where very happy with the room and service. We had a very nice room with a view. The clearing was probably the best I have experinced. Breakfast was great. Friendly staff. Parking worked out good for us and drivning to hotel was easier than expected, not much traffic during summer.

Beautiful hotel with great views of the pier. The breakfast is amazing and the service was great. Location is good if you plan to go to feskekörkan or to the boats, if you plan going to central station might be a bit far but the tram stops close. We were really happy 😊

View Bar & Restaurant has good quality food and wrll presented ambience. A bit congested when full house but the view from restaurant to outside is awesome during sunset.🌇
