Hotel Riverton

I had an amazing three-course dinner at Riverton Rooftop Restaurant, and everything was absolutely perfect! The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the ambiance was just incredible. The vibe, the city view, and especially the river view made the whole experience unforgettable. The atmosphere felt elegant yet cozy, and the service was excellent. A truly stunning place in Gothenburg , highly recommended! I would love to visit again. 💛

Very good hotel in the city center with main amenities at walking distance. Rooms are comfortable and clean . Breakfast offer variety, coffee quality to be improved though😉 Fantastic rooftop bar and restaurant with a wonderful view on sea side and the city. Very friendly staff.

Great staff and a very clean property throughout. Decent walk from the train station, but accessible by pretty much every form of transport in the city (bus/tram/ferry all within 2 minutes). The suite and view was excellent. Would come back again!

We loved our stay at Hotel Riverton. The location made it easy to explore the city on foot — close to the water, Haga, and plenty of great cafés and restaurants. The rooms were modern, comfortable, and quiet, which was perfect after a full travel day. We especially appreciated having the Skybar and restaurant right upstairs for an easy first night in the city. The views from there were beautiful, and the service throughout the hotel was excellent. A great base for exploring Gothenburg!

Room cleaning waking you at 8am can be surprising as the glass between the shower and the toilets or their glass door. May be I was not the targetted audience. Nice panorama.

What truly stood out was the exceptional management and the warm, friendly service – from check-in to check-out, everything was perfectly taken care of. I was also impressed by the flexibility with the booking, which made my stay even more relaxed. The rooftop bar is an absolute highlight – offering stunning views over the city and a great selection of drinks. The breakfast buffet was extensive, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options. Overall, this is a hotel that combines top-notch service, comfort, and special touches. I will definitely be back!

We had an amazing time at the Riverton! The hotel is pristine and beautiful! We were treated exceptionally well by the staff and they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and relaxing! I can’t say enough good about this place!

When I first arrived, the staff was welcoming and kind. My first impression of the room was good, but it was little bit dirty in the bathroom. Breakfast was good and alot to pick from. Also the staff there was very kind. The worst part of the stay was few weeks later after stay, when I figured out that I got bedbugs. I have had the Anticimex inspected and can confirm that this is what I have. They were unable to see another link as to how they came from, anywhere other than from the overnight stay at their hotel. I emailed the hotel, and they were not helpful at all. Very sad cause this is not a situation I want to be in. I hope they are doing some actions to get rid of it so other customer would not get the same problems as me.

This was the first place I stayed in Sweden and it was an alright experience. The reason for the low rating is because of the construction that the staff said "unnoticeable" and that when I called the front desk they hung up on me. Grant it may be because I was speaking english. Not sure if that would of matter or not since they said they spoke english. I called back and again i was hung up on. The room was pretty nice but there was not a great view because of a crane that was erected over night. The factory chimney was not a great view because it blocked the ocean view.Location was pretty nice and breakfast was okay. I will most likly not stay at this location again. Maybe I will give it a second chance when construction is completed.

June 2019. Undergoing major construction work. Would not recommend until completed. Enter ace through shipping container, workers drilling at 0715. Not acceptable.

Very nice hotel with extra service near the channel and historical center. The hotel description declares that it is 4* hotel, and I must admit - it really is. The personnel is very welcoming, interior is very fresh and nicely decorated. Rooms are clean, stylish and contain all necessary facilities (except for AC, but hey, this is Sweden, you can hardly expect very hot weather here). An extra star from me - they have kettle in the room (somehow a lot of hotels does not find it a very good tone towards their customers) and shower room apart of being high tech is also comfortable in usage. The hotel contains the spa and relax section, unfortunately could not check it. The breakfast is very rich, one of the best I've seen in Sweden so far. The hotel has a convenient location, so you can reach all the main attraction by feet. Recommend. OBS! As there are some reconstruction works in Goteborg, the area in front of the hotel is also engaged, may result in extra noise during the dyay though

One of the worst and most unhygienic hotels I've even been to. We are a group of friends and they gave us a room with the bed right next to the sink and toilet, with nothing to separate the two. A simple curtain would've been fine. The receptionists were extremely rude also. One receptionist had us go back to the end of the line after standing in one for an hour, because apparently we hadn't checked in when we alread did before with her especially.
