HOTEL ROCKAWAY

Unfortunately the noise from the nightclubs will keep you awake until 4am regardless. I don't know why they would put people in their late 50s in rooms on the street. We wanted an ocean view but not at the cost of sleep. We left the hotel a night earlier than planned even though we had paid for it. Also, the light shining in through the doors (odd choice) illuminated the whole room all night. It was awful. There were people drinking and smoking around the pool so we didn't go in it much. Very uncomfortable all around. The positives are the rooms we're actually lovely and would otherwise have been fine. The noise is insane outside. Prepare to have no sleep.

Good stay. Clean and plenty of services available from local merchants. One thing to be aware of is the very loud bar across the road that pounds music until 430am. I am not overstating this. Bring ear plugs if you want to sleep prior to then. Other than that nice small pool and the incidence breakfast is ok.

I really wanted to love this place BUT, between the screaming kids in the daytime (and their voices are amplified by the hotel design which encloses both pools), and the crazy loud EDM Music at night from the nearby nightclubs, it was impossible to relax or sleep well. On the plus side breakfast is good, you are right across from the beach, and the rooms are clean and well designed. Just don’t count on much sleep or quiet time.

Beautifuly decorated, ocean front so why not five star all the way across. The doors are glazed and allow light to come in all night. The room is never dark and the night club across the street plays loud music passed 3 a.m. sometimes until 5 a.m.

Internet is basic not starlink Children enjoyed the pool. Rooms are basic but comfortable.

Unfortunately the design of the hotel excluded hot water at both the bathroom and kitchen sinks with no means to heat water to wash up or shave. Never experienced this ever in all the thousands of hotels I have stayed in. Somewhat spoilt a very good experience. Also the local roosters provided an irritating background to the idea of sleep.

We had such an enjoyable stay! The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff are friendly and welcoming, the pool area is beautiful and the location of the hotel is great.

Of course I got the basic room, pretty small but clean, great location and very good service.

Joke of a hotel, management staff were the absolute worst.. basically passports stolen manager was no where to be found until we made a scene did nothing to support don't go they are not worth it.. I had a better time with the lifeless staff at Selina then the incredibly dumb management staff here

Awesome place to stay. Really nice and accommodating staff. A/C in the room. Pools are really nice and this hotel is very clean. Really great breakfast included with our stay. Stayed here for 10 days and it was perfect. Can't recommend this place enough. Could hear some music from the clubs but that's to be expected for the location. Slept like a baby for the whole stay.
