We stayed for 2 nights in November. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is full of character. We had a lovely spacious room with a sea view. Staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. Most of all the food was EXCELLENT. Thoroughly recommended

We stayed 3 nights. First impressions were excellent, lovely looking hotel, and the pool area was amazing, big pool,,bar, restaurant great view. And this literally saves this hotel. Friendly reception. The room was at the end of a dingy dark corridor. Room was dull, very outdated decor. Bed was hard, and noisy due to old spring mattess, pillows long and narrow. We were next to where delivery and bin collection is made, and during night so annoying. Bath was lower than floor when stepping in for weak shower so not very good if are not steady. Worse thing was security, doors to balcony didn't close, and were held by a small bar thing, gentle push and it opened, it was easy to access our balcony from road. Location was good. Short walk to beach, shops and restaurants, and you don't have to go the way of 180 steps as said in other reviews. Super market very close. Bus station is a 20 min walk, ideal for days out to lovely tossa, or trip to Barcelona. Not expensive.

I really can't understand the negative reviews of this hotel. We stayed here in July, thought it was beautiful, loved it, and will definitely return one day.|We stayed in a junior suite, which was huge. It was the one with the balcony nearest the pool. The terrace was enormous too, with table, chairs and sunloungers. Gigantic comfy bed and whirlpool bath. If you could ignore the slight gap between a two of the laminate floorboards, it was perfect.|The food selection was great at breakfast, and we also ate dinner there three times in the evening. For €20 each, which included a bottle of wine (red, rose or white) and water, we thought it was great value, and the fish and tapas dishes were particularly nice. Amazing view of town from the main dining room, too.|The pool area overlooking the town is beautiful and evenings under the stars at the pool bar were lovely. Drinks prices reasonable.|Public areas are full of antiques and traditional furniture. I wouldn't call it a dated look; I'd say it's more 'spanish manor house vibe'. To have everything in minimalist beige wouldn't do justice to the lovely old building. View my photos and judge for yourself.

Had an amazing stay at Hotel Roger de Flor! 🌟 The reception staff were super friendly and helpful, making check-in a breeze. My room was fantastic—spacious, clean, and cozy! The location is perfect; close to the beach and local attractions. Plus, the restaurant and bar offered delicious food and drinks. Highly recommend this place! 🍹

I never write reviews. I am tolerant and accepting, not moany but wanted to write this.|First impression of hotel is lovely. Very pretty. Friendly helpful staff, nice pool and bar area. Breakfast good.|However. Hotel is tired and FULL of furniture and paintings, far to cluttered and I'm not a minimalist!|No lock on balcony door. Hotel have drilled a hole in the wall for door latch to fit into to make a lock. Made a very loud bang to 'lock' and 'unlock' door. Poor neighbours. No privacy on balconies. Can see into neighbours rooms if you want to. A bamboo partition would work well. I paid extra for superior room, not sure what an standard is like. Strong smell of sewage in corridor daily. 115 steps to gain access to hotel, not mentioned anywhere.|Made the most of the holiday but would not go back here or use Love Holidays as a provider.

Such a gorgeous hotel the pool was amazing and the location was so good with the steps into town at the front. the breakfast was lovely especially the pastries which were the best i ever had. the pool bar staff were lovely with one man giving us a lesson on how to make a cocktail and we loved how they were open until late so we could have a few drinks. the room was so spacious with great ac. would really recommend if your looking for a gorgeous relaxing holiday with the option to explore town

The Roger de Flor in Lloret de Mar has undeniable charm — the hotel feels more like an overcrowded family home, filled with plants and eclectic objects scattered across walls, floors, and surfaces. Our suite on the top floor was only accessible by unsafe stairs, with an empty fridge and décor that felt straight out of the 70s or 80s. The highlight was a large balneo bath in the middle of the room, though it added more quirk than comfort.||Practicalities were mixed: parking is restricted (though some shaded spaces are available), and access down to the sea, while offering a lovely view, involves a steep descent that isn’t suitable for everyone. The pool area was genuinely pleasant, surrounded by flowers and trees, creating a peaceful retreat.||Unfortunately, the service and food let the experience down. The buffet was overpriced if booked separately, with bland food and lukewarm staff service. Perhaps this was due to end-of-season fatigue, but it left an impression.||Overall, while the hotel has character and charm, it struggles to justify its price point. At best, it delivers a 3-star experience — albeit with some pretty views.

Just returned from our stay in Lloret de Mar and our stay in Hotel Roger de Flor. We had a fantastic time here. The hotel is very picaresque on the outside. It is also very nice inside. The rooms are nice and big and kept clean every day. The food for breakfast lunch and dinner is excellent wit great choices for each. We were B&b but the value for lunch and dinner is really good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is very good with a 10 min walk from the main area. There is a lot of steps but there is a lift option. Thanks you for a lovely stay.
