I really can't understand the negative reviews of this hotel. We stayed here in July, thought it was beautiful, loved it, and will definitely return one day.|We stayed in a junior suite, which was huge. It was the one with the balcony nearest the pool. The terrace was enormous too, with table, chairs and sunloungers. Gigantic comfy bed and whirlpool bath. If you could ignore the slight gap between a two of the laminate floorboards, it was perfect.|The food selection was great at breakfast, and we also ate dinner there three times in the evening. For €20 each, which included a bottle of wine (red, rose or white) and water, we thought it was great value, and the fish and tapas dishes were particularly nice. Amazing view of town from the main dining room, too.|The pool area overlooking the town is beautiful and evenings under the stars at the pool bar were lovely. Drinks prices reasonable.|Public areas are full of antiques and traditional furniture. I wouldn't call it a dated look; I'd say it's more 'spanish manor house vibe'. To have everything in minimalist beige wouldn't do justice to the lovely old building. View my photos and judge for yourself.
