Hotel Roma

A friend recommended this place based on its location and price. I took that recommendation over the reviews of other TripAdvisor contributors. That was a mistake. The location is nice, it’s a nice, short walk to the center of town. The staff was reasonably friendly. The room was quiet. I’m struggling here to find positive things to say about the place.||||The room was minimal, small, plain. It was clean, I guess, but worn. The window was to an interior hallway, with no fresh air or natural light. The furniture and furnishings were basic, utilitarian, adequate.||||It was nice to have a pool, but it was tiny. It was also closed at 4:00 pm when we decided to check it out. We had to go to the desk to get someone to open it for us. We weren’t offered pool towels, though other guests had left theirs behind. (This was the only sign we got that there were other guests at the hotel.) Neither the pool nor the pool area were very clean.||||The price for the double room included breakfast for one person. We went elsewhere for breakfast, so I can’t comment on the restaurant’s offerings. I’ll stay elsewhere next time as well.

They are slightly reserved, but that's in there nature and I'm happy with it because that's the way they are. But in general they're nice and I liked them. ||I would definitely stay at the place again. |It was great !!! |I don't have any negatives to write about this hotel. |Price was good too, Can't remember exactly how much, but it was a lot less than expected. ||Location location location !!!! ||Thank you Hotel Roma for making my experience in Cuerna very special. ||

I discovered that planning where to stay beforehand is not as successful as talking with the taxistas! Ours took us to Hotel Roma where we enjoyed four days of excellent service (thanks Freddy!). The friendly staff, clean although small rooms, hot water around the clock, great ambiance, and free breakfast made our stay comfortable, affordable, and enjoyable. Its proximity to the Zocalo and plazas allowed us to walk everywhere! There is a small pool which is completely enclosed in a beautiful little outdoor garden setting upstairs. There is also a bar complete with stools in the water so easy access to refreshing drinks and snacks. I loved feeling like we were part of a big family, guests and staff together. You will never be disappointed at Hotel Roma, I promise!

I picked this hotel for the price and the location. We were only spending one night and I wanted to be conveniently located near the city center. Our room cost 440MXN per night for two people. The rooms are small and clean but nothing special. There are many other hotels in the area that do not show up on the web and in guide books. If you don't have a place to stay you can walk around and pick and choose any hotel. If you want luxury just head over to Las Mananitas.

Located 4 blocks from the Zocalo. The room is normal, with a fan, TV, small bed for 2 persons. The price includes a complimentary breakfast for 1 person. The staff is not super friendly. Good deal to be centrally located in Cuernavaca.

I have stay in this Hotel for years and never had a problem, everything is really close by and the prices are reasonable. This hotel is perfect, besides you will only need it to rest.

Good price and good location, it has swimming pool and parking. Very basic, don't expect any luxury.
