A couple of minutes walk to Plaza Major and free underground parking - just what we wanted. The hotel is showing its age, but it has character and is clean. Our room had a balcony overlooking the church opposite. Staff were cheerful and helpful. Standard Spanish breakfast. Good value for money. No complaints.

Nice little hotel located in a pedestrian area of Valladolid. If you are driving to the hotel, please bear in mind that you will not be able to drive up to the hotel, but instead have to park up and walk. Pleasant old fashioned hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. Our room was basic but acceptable, as was breakfast.

The hotel is situated literally in the centre of Valladolid in a pedestrianised area. Parking is off site at a local underground car park and charged at over 10€ a night. The rooms are very basic with old furniture and desperately in need of a refurbishment. One of the previous reviewers was spot on when he said it was like army barracks. On the plus side the staff were all very helpful and friendly and breakfast was good.

Terrible room, reminded me of an army barrack room. Very basic elderly furnishings, and walls painted barrack room grey. Totally indifferent service at reception - although to be fair, the morning receptionist was more helpful. The room had a small window looking out on a tiny dirty courtyard. WiFi signal was poor. There was a weird aircon unit mounted under the window, noisy and not very effective. The bathroom has no surfaces to put toiletries on - had to put everything outside in the room. Well positioned in the town centre - but very overpriced for the low standard of the hotel. We were promised on-site parking, but had to park in an expensive undergound parking 10 mins walk away.

Hotel is in a great situation, and clean, apart from that, where shall we begin?||It is SO noisy, walls paper thin, we could hear next room conversations (and worse) bathroom visits, and people walking, talking, shouting, IN the hotel. Hardly slept.||Beds and pillows rock hard, no hair dryer (advertises) and poor excuse for toiletries.||Advertises bath tub but pointless if neither tub nor basin has a plug. Floor was not parquet, some faux wood laminate beginning to crack.||WiFi sketchy or non existent. Breakfast very unexceptional, the blond lady who serves was nice, and the housekeeper.||Our advice, if you have to stay here take earplugs and sleeping pills.||We tried to book elsewhere after first night but the first three hotels we tried were fully booked, so we gave up.||We don’t care about decor but passing it off as traditional etc. it’s plain awful!

Very good, central location. The staff were friendly. The room is good size and comfortable. Single beds are rather wide. Bathroom was clean and well equipped. Overall, great value for the price.

This hotel is not easy to find in the centre of Valladolid as it is in a pedestrian area. I had to ask locals several times how to get to it and finally drove close by driving in the pedestrian area. We were in a van driving from France to Portugal for Christmas and this was an ideal place to stop.||The hotel from the outside is lovely matching the gorgeous architecture of the city. The reception staff were friendly and helpful finding an alternative place to park our van as it was too high to go in the normal secured parking. But after some phone calls the staff found a car park around the corner so it was secure for the night. This was important as the van was loaded with Christmas presents and luggage for two weeks in Portugal.||The hotel was clean and due to its age had a character about it. We had a family room which they accommodated for five (two adults and three children 15, 13, and 11). After settling in we walked around the city and found places to eat locally throughout the city centre. A quiet night and up early to leave a sleepy Valladolid while we got on route to Portugal.

I was here for one night with my latest lady friend.|The location is terrific, right in the old town centre around the corner from the Plaza Mayor.|The hotel is clean and well staffed, although our bed was not as comfortable as we would have liked.|The staff did not have great English, but they tried their best and at least they were apologetic about it.|I would recommend this as a budget option for Valladolid. If you want something fancier, then you'll have to splash out some more cash, dear reader.
