Hotel Romania

An overall positive experience, with some areas that could be improved. The room was clean and comfortable, but a bit dated. For example, the towels were a bit worn. The breakfast buffet was unsatisfactory; at 9:00 a.m., the food that ran out hadn't been replaced. Good location for exploring the city.

I am very happy at my stay there, very clean and stuff very helpful. Gave me a better room than the one I had booked because I needed to checkin earlier and then checkout in a few hours. Also had a great breakfast box because i would miss breakfast. Thank you! Also, great location.

The hotel offers great value for money. Beds, room and balcony were good. We were missing shampoos and maybe more options in breakfast. The staff were friendly. All in all we were satisfied with our stay. Recommend!

First thing first - this review is about the restaurant on the premises and not about the hotel - we were guests for dinner at the restaurant but we did not stay at the hotel! ||It was interesting as we were walking through Karlovy Vary to find a hotel called "Romania" and since they had a restaurant we've checked the menu outside and stayed for dinner. ||Nice atmosphere in the restaurant, very friendly staff, very good selection of dishes served and an extensive drinks menu. What else do you need for a very good dinner experience?||We've ordered oven backed duck leg with sour cabbage and dumplings, traditional Czech dish , very tasty and the duck leg backed to perfection - it was literally falling of the bone. Nicely spiced and a hearty portion. ||From the drinks menu - a dark Czech lager - the "Cerna Lavina" from the Bernard brewery. Very nice choice to go with the meat. ||To finish the dinner a dessert - apple strudel with wiped cream. ||Prices - pocket friendly by all means - a very good price to quality ratio and you can pay with card ... ||Overall , a very good spot , when in Karlovy Vary and not looking for anything fancy this maybe just the place for you.

A 3star hotel close to Carlsbader spa area, a balanced price4service. No parking in front of the hotel

The interior is a bit dated, but it's all very clean. AC was nice and cool, but also very loud after running for a while, not great for the sleep. Breakfast was not very good, coffee tastes terrible. Staff was very nice and helpful!

The hotel service was acceptable clean room with comfortable bed. The only issue is that if you want to have the good view to the street side you have to pay more otherwise you just see the ugly wall. There is near parking place is not very pleasant. So I will take one start because that. The food quality was good. The breakfast is fine the only problem is that there is no many different type of the bread and coffee. You just have two options. This is what I expected more.

I really recommend. The location is excellent, quiet, directly above the city, close to Teplá river just in front of the Thermal Hotel. The room was not big, but simple and very clean. The staff at the reception were not very informative (eg. parking). The hotel doen't have its parking places, you can park on the street or nearby and you have to pay for it. We had a delicious and plentiful breakfast there.
