Amazingly helpful staff. One staff member spent around 20 minutes sharing her knowledge of the area and ways to adjust a multi-day hike we were on to meet our needs. Another staff member was super helpful in arranging a taxi to Tamariu one morning, which required a great deal of persistence. The rooms were pretty standard and a very good deal for the price. The breakfast food and service was wonderful. I highly recommend this place.

We got the budget room at this hotel for 3 nights. I was prepared for a very basic experience and was really pleasantly surprised at how nice everything was. The room was airy and clean, as was the bathroom. The breakfast was really good with a good selection of quality produce. The staff were super lovely which just made the stay all the more enjoyable. Location is central and perfect for shops/bars/restaurants. Al in all, a fantastic stay.

Quality of service and comfort. Quirky in the layout definitely. My room was towards the back, second floor. Whilst I did not have a view my stay was quiet and the light was good. But the standout was the service. Great people who worked hard but took time.

I have been coming to Begur for years and have stayed in many hotels. I would say that by far this is the most tired but a great location. We paid over 600euros for 4 nights so not budget budget price but cheeper than others.|The room is extremely basic, some work needs to be done, plug socket coming out of the wall, mouldy shower screen, noisy aircon I would say it cools rather than makes the room cold (bonus, the room does have a fridge and a small safe)! |The TV is almost on the ceiling so you can’t watch it really, not that we wanted too. Not a fluffy white towel in sight just grey musty and sandpaper like, please invest in some new towels. Breakfast is ok but basic, consists of 3 different breads, hard boiled eggs, cheese, ham and watermelon and OJ, they do not cater for children I would say. Thankfully the coffee is really good, the toaster only has one side that works very frustrating when busy, buy a new one!! 😡|The staff are lovely, couldn’t ask for nicer helpful people, especially the lady who makes the coffee and breakfast.

I’m very pleased with my stay here, enough that I just extended it! I think the prices accurately reflect the 3 star rating. Rooms and bathrooms are indeed dated, but they are neat, and cleaned and tidied daily, and the staff does go above and beyond in making the stay here very pleasant. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it doesn’t claim to be one. It’s clean, the location is brilliant, the common areas are large, pretty and well maintained, and the staff is lovely and very responsive. The courtyard is very charming. It’s a perfectly nice 3 star. Towels could be newer and I wish there was a mini fridge, but that’s about it.

Very comfortable and slightly quirky boutique hotel with rooms spread across several floors. The best thing about our stay was the incredibly friendly and enthusiastic staff - they were great. The hotel opens onto the small streets of the old town and is very close to the church square and the castle. The breakfast was delicious.

My boyfriend and I stayed here in April of last year and had an absolutely amazing time! We flew in from London, but are from the USA, and took a cab ride from the airport to Hotel Rosa. The staff here was so friendly and beyond helpful. They helped us with directions, provided us with a map, and gave us wonderful recommendations. This hotel is in a great location (I couldn't imagine a better spot) with clean, beautiful, and spacious rooms–has everything you need. Next time I'm in Begur, I will for sure be staying at Hotel Rosa again!!

I spent two weeks at the Rosa while visiting friends in Begur. Let’s begin with the perfect location. A few steps away from the historic center of the town, its restaurants and bars, the Hotel is still amazingly quiet. The rooms aren’t fancy, but they are clean and comfortable. The adjustable AC was nice and cold—a must in Spain in the summer! The best part of the Rosa though is the staff. There was no request they didn’t handle with a smile. They greeted me by name and always asked if there was anything else they could do for me—from a fast and reasonable laundry service to a great gin and tonic! I have nothing but praise for the Rosa and the great people who work there!
