Hotel Rosamar

We were there for one night. Parking is €15. Towels are a €5 with a €10 deposit. Room towels have trackers. The kids pool is only open 11:30-4:30. Check in is 4, check out is 12- though our room was cleaned and cleared out of our personal belongings before 11! The main areas and balconies smell like cigarettes. The shower door fell off and onto me and if I weren’t there it would have fallen on my 4 year old and it’s heavy. The rooms have a nice kitchenette and it was nice that there was a separation between the bed and couch/pullout. The elevators are packed, slow, and hot. We really tried to like it, but they need to change some policies and maintain it better for a truly 4 star hotel.

We really love Benidorm and this hotel is in the perfect location for us. Walking distance from everything, close to the beach and market with easy, reasonably priced parking for our hire car. The hotel itself has had a recent refurbishment, it’s lovely, clean and fresh. Both pools are great, we travelled with children ages 5,10,11 and 13, they were safe and secure with enough going on to keep us all entertained. Plenty of sunbeds and close access to the bars. There is an indoor spa which we felt really ripped off paying for; 28euros for four of us to use for one hour. It was freezing and overcrowded, the sauna and steam room were turned off. We thought it would be a special treat, it wasn’t. We mostly enjoyed the food and the serving times, there was always something tasty available. The whole drinks token thing was seriously annoying having to remember to carry them around with you and to guard your drink. I’m sure there’s been many complaints about the lifts, it’s a tall building and something needs to be sorted. We had a teen not long out of hospital so the walk up the stairs was a struggle. I’d actually advise against anyone with reduced mobility staying here for this reason alone. If there were more lifts, it would drastically improve people’s holidays. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again.

I was here with my Granny and this hotel was nice the rooms was decent and the beds were big. The food was a hit or a miss there was stuff there that were eatable. The swimming pool was big the only thing I didn't like was that the fact the kids were not allowed their lilo's balls or rings in the pool the lifeguard was very strict to the kids for having balls rings and lilo's in the pool and I kept saying to my granny the hotel is meant to be kid friendly but the kids were not allowed balls lilo's or rings in the pool. Also It's a all-inclusive hotel but when you check in you get given these tokens to give to the bar staff to get a plastic glass for drink and you have to keep that glass and if you loose the glass you have to pay 1 euro to get another glass. The entertainment wasn't that great so me and my Granny went out every night. The lifts was ridiculous you wait ages to get a lift and sometimes the lifts goes pasted your floor and passed you if you want to go up or down. Also the beds didn't get changed the full time me and my Granny was away which is was a disappointment having to sleep in the same sheet cover all the time.

AVOID!! We did all inclusive, the food is repetitive, not vegetarian friendly AT ALL! I walked around every morning and evening with an empty plate and then went to burger king. Bar staff are frieks. They flirted with anything that walked past it was uncomfortable. I dreaded going to the bar. Drinks are awful, everything is pre made and watered down. Alcoholic is basically non alcoholic so do not come here for drinks. They have a kids aqua park but special needs adults nor any adult is allowed to use it and so the kids in our group spent most time on the loungers as they wanted a parent to go on with them (but we weren't allowed). The aqua park is only opened from 11:30am-4:30pm. The there is no entertainment in between. Kids entertainment does not begin until 9pm!! They have an arcade with a soft play which was closed the entire time we there. There aren't enough elevators, we waited 30 mins most nights for them. We were on the 12th floor with a toddler so we couldn't even walk up the stairs instead. Staff wouldn't phone us a taxi to leave either, they said the only call taxis for the airport :)) This is a 1 star hotel. Like I said... AVOID!!

We have just returned and honestly other than a few tiny niggles cannot fault this place at all, room was a good size, originally given 12th floor and asked for a lower floor and changed no probs, we were all inclusive and thought the plastic cup idea was great- no cups lying all o ever the place, hotel was spotless. Location fab! Can get a bit noisy at night - but it’s Benidorm. Food was good, we didn’t eat in all the time but when we did the only complaint we had was sometimes the food was just warm but that’s the same everywhere and food was quickly restocked, Always plenty choice . All inclusive drinks were great and they are not stingy with them ! Staff all very helpful .and maids chapped our door every morning - we did have a door notice but this kept getting nicked but that’s funny especially when you do it back! |Little niggles- and little - |snack bar staff are that slow they are almost going back in time.|Lifts are a pest- very slow ! We ended up on the fifth floor so took the stairs ( on the way down)|Our sink in bathroom kept blocking but we never reported it so not their fault.|You can hear noise from tavern etc so if you like an early night maybe ask for a room at the far end but we were usually out so didn’t bother us. |Would recommend and will be returning just hope the weathers better next time.

Lovely clean hotel and lovely food. Family hotel so lots of children but if you need peace & quiet there's a solarium around past the water park on the right go up lifts to floor 2 and there's a quiet deck with sunbeds and drinks (no pool) so peaceful 😁

We came for holiday group of 8 people 3 rooms and we were all disappointed. I have to say the rooms and hotel is very clean although my sister complained that her room was not being cleaned every day and the staff who cleaned her room took her own towels. Unfortunately the food was tasteless and everyday same things being served. Breakfast - they did not serve any fresh salad veg. The vegetarians options are very limited. We bought all inclusive and I regretted because often we had to go and eat outside this is how bad was the food. The customer service was terrible . Most of the staff are very rude and cannot speak basic English and when we try to ask for something they are not even trying to understand just saying in them language I can’t understand and rolling their eyes serve with anger ( this is first time I came across with like this behaviour in hotel on holiday ). Did I really spend all that money to be treated like this ? Ridiculous! Spain is very beautiful but if I would go again I would rather book apartment to avoid paying for this kind of food and customer service. It’s such a shame because the hotel itself is nice. I asked few other families from UK who have been there and they had same opinion. So I am sorry but I would not recommend this place.

Stayed in a family room that had a massive crack on the balcony window. Had to go out and buy our own toilet roll. Had to chase a maid down to use sweeping brush because they never swept the floors once pretty sure they never changed our bedding either. Asked for more pillows never got them. Then on our last day we left something in our room so I asked at 3pm if they xpuld send someone in to get it and they said to come back in a hour by 7pm they said hadn't sent anyone in to look so ended up leaving it there handled it really badly. Food is basic and boring. Also found the people on reception rude took us over an hour to check in and when asked if we could have a late check out they just said no without checking or wven looking up at me would definitely not go back

I stayed hear last year for 2 weeks,the staff were freindly and the food was nice,after a week though it was so repetitive,The rooms were nice and clean and the balcony was a good size,my only complaint really was the hotel bar closed at 11.00pm every night, a lot of the near by hotels stayed open much later but as i have kids I like to be back at hotel not to late,overall though the rosamar wouldnt be my first choice in benidorm but i would come back here as it is basically a good clean hotel with plenty of sun beds and decent indoor and out door swimmingpool

Life guard manhandled my children has no right here flipping children of beds Food not served well poisoned of it do not go here againno blankets no serves to my room I do not think it's safe fit kids bathrooms suck it had discussed this many times took then 5 days to fix ( all my holiday)
