Hotel Rosamar

I went as a single parent with my child with the jet2holiday package. From the flight to arriving in Alicante, the Spanish staff were very helpful and clearly communicated our next steps to the hotel. The hotel was beautifully decorated with Christmas lights etc. My room was surprisingly ready before the check in time 4pm as i got there for 1pm. Room was clean with a little mini refrigerator. I was on the 13th floor stairs were accessible as well as the lift, food served three times a day, the food was repetitive whilst i was there for 4 days but it was still yummy and high quality. Salads and fruits were fresh. Water park was unfortunately closed as it was not the season but pool inside was warm to use at extra cost. Unfortunately the outside pool water was freezing did feel that there could be more done to warm the water to enjoy especially for kids etc. Entertainment was great by the 'funtastic team', they provided activities at the outside pool, lifting everyone's spirits which was really great fun made you feel very welcomed. There was also mini club for the little ones to go in the morning and evening for little over an hour, great care and attention from lovely Isa taking care of my little one. From face painting, board games, colouring lots to do. Staff overall were helpful, room was great, TV to watch with free strong WIFI and really close to the beach. Thank you

You can't knock the Rosamar really. It's got a great location and the recent redevelopments have certainly improved it. We stayed on the 13th floor, room 1327. This is one of the newer rooms in the extension. Room smelt damp and there was a bit of mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. But the room was ok. Good size, good beds, great views. The lifts are slightly better now than before the rebuild with the addition of another lift, but they're still pretty terrible. Food was good. Good variety and reasonable quality. Recommend the solarium if you want a bit of peace. The pool area is nice. Busy, but not too bad at all. All in all, would recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at this Hotel. Our room was not ready but hay ho it clearly states rooms not available till 3pm i think. People were complaining . (read the small print) All the staff are exceptionally friendly, There was always something to eat, not going to starve although i was expecting better. Our room was spotless and spacious. We was on 12th floor room 33 and the balcony was huge. The bar was good, i think is a good idea to give a token for your plastic beaker for a drink, that way tables are kept clean and bar staff can serve rather than go cleaning up after people.. Hotel is well situated for the night life and beach. will definitely return if we return to Benidorm.

Location good|Atmosphere good but when reporting an illness at the hotel they wasn't bothered me and my son was very ill one night and we had heard other holiday makers had been ill to since which is possibly the food or the jacuzzi. No apologies just logged it on system. |Rooms good size beds not anough pillows. Floor not the cleanest ask for them to be mopped a few times but was told its been done.|We are all inclusive but wouldn't rate the food a 2 star, chicken red inside nuggets brown inside not what u expect from a 4* hotel.|And the hotel does seem very over crowded.|Corridors and floors above very noises and tiled floors dont help this either. |Life guard a mardy old man wouldn't let holiday makers eat/smoke on sun lounger but could drink as much as u liked.

Honest review I came with my partner & 8 year old son This is our first family holiday abroad I’ll start with the positives we were no on the left side of the hotel and allways hot sun on the balcony there’s ever sun on the right Everthing is in walking distance , the snack bar is great I’m a fussy eater and the pizza , chips , burgers , toasties are lovley , the food hall breakfast is lovley as it’s the same everyday , fresh fried eggs , everything on a full English ect ( Spanish bacon sausages ect ) Now to the negatives The hotel is VERY loud at night . We were on the 3rd floor and the walls and doors are paper thin . The all inclusive bar may close at 11pm but trust me everyone still comes in every minute of every hour drunk and being very loud down the corridor . Even had somone try and enter our room . Not what I’d recommend for kids as my son even tho he’s 8 kept waking up too , the room above us had multipul children up at all hours running around so that was very loud , The main hotel lady who was at reception was very rude VERY unhelpful and couldn’t even look at us when we asked a question … Cleanliness of the hotel was poor . Hair , dust , dirt mainly on the floors , bedding does not get changed ( even tho reception says every 3 days … ) it wasn’t ( milk left in the room was also off Everthing beyond reception NEEDS a lick of pain and it’s all very warn and dirty Overall I wouldn’t stay again unless it was for a drinking holiday . As that’s what most guests seem to stay for but not with family’s/ kids

First the good things. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. Food in the restaurant buffet was plentiful. The less good things were mainly about the other guests who were noisy in all public areas. The feral kids running riot in the restaurant were a liability. The rules about wearing a shirt in the internal public areas were not enforced leading to some unfortunate sights. The lifts were inadequate for the numbers trying to use them.

We really love Benidorm and this hotel is in the perfect location for us. Walking distance from everything, close to the beach and market with easy, reasonably priced parking for our hire car. The hotel itself has had a recent refurbishment, it’s lovely, clean and fresh. Both pools are great, we travelled with children ages 5,10,11 and 13, they were safe and secure with enough going on to keep us all entertained. Plenty of sunbeds and close access to the bars. There is an indoor spa which we felt really ripped off paying for; 28euros for four of us to use for one hour. It was freezing and overcrowded, the sauna and steam room were turned off. We thought it would be a special treat, it wasn’t. We mostly enjoyed the food and the serving times, there was always something tasty available. The whole drinks token thing was seriously annoying having to remember to carry them around with you and to guard your drink. I’m sure there’s been many complaints about the lifts, it’s a tall building and something needs to be sorted. We had a teen not long out of hospital so the walk up the stairs was a struggle. I’d actually advise against anyone with reduced mobility staying here for this reason alone. If there were more lifts, it would drastically improve people’s holidays. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again.

Stayed here as couple 2 weeks ago. Rooms nice and beds comfy. Towels replaced everyday , bedding wasn’t changed in the 10 days we were there. Food plentiful, breakfast being the nicest choice. Only downside was a brand new top I’d bought was stolen from room . Reported to reception, never heard a response .

I stayed hear last year for 2 weeks,the staff were freindly and the food was nice,after a week though it was so repetitive,The rooms were nice and clean and the balcony was a good size,my only complaint really was the hotel bar closed at 11.00pm every night, a lot of the near by hotels stayed open much later but as i have kids I like to be back at hotel not to late,overall though the rosamar wouldnt be my first choice in benidorm but i would come back here as it is basically a good clean hotel with plenty of sun beds and decent indoor and out door swimmingpool

Life guard manhandled my children has no right here flipping children of beds Food not served well poisoned of it do not go here againno blankets no serves to my room I do not think it's safe fit kids bathrooms suck it had discussed this many times took then 5 days to fix ( all my holiday)
