Hotel Rosamar Maritim

We stayed at the hotel for three nights with my husband to celebrate our fifth wedding anniversary. Friendly staff and good breakfast. The biggest highlight was the rooftop pool with a bar on the 7th floor overlooking the sea. The hotel also has saunas and a gym, so you can enjoy those in your free time. We will definitely come back to the same hotel! Truly recommended! The room was standard, cleaned daily, and the only small downside was the lack of regular drinking glasses (in my opinion just a tiny minus). Other than that, highly recommended – 5/5!

Stayed B&B for one week. Breakfast was lovely, had stopped paying for breakfast at hotels as it was generally not nice but this hotel has a really delicious breakfast with something for everyone.||Our room was nice, appreciated the fridge as we also like to keep a few cold drinks in the room. Air con worked perfectly, room was always a lovely temperature. Room cleaned daily with fresh towels. Our balcony looked out over the rear of property which was fine for us. We didnt spend much time in the room bar showering and sleeping so suited us perfectly.||Right on the beach. Restaurants start less than 5mins away, some on the beach front next to the hotel and the main strip/area less than 10mins walk. We took the bus to Barcelona on a bad weather day and the Moventis bus stop is also less than a 5min walk up the hill from the hotel. This was handy as we avoided the big crowds at the bus station in Lloret.||We spent 2 days at the beach but the rest at the pool area. The pool area is small but the pool is lovely and the view very nice. There was one day when the pool got very busy and there wasnt enough sunbeds for everyone so people had to turn around and head off elsewhere. It wouldn't be a pool area for children in my opinion, there is no direct view to the pool from the sunbeds and some steps so might not be the best for small children.||The pool bar had snacks and drinks although on a few occasions it was very busy and the staff member working that day was clearly under pressure as they had to serve, clean, make drinks and make the food. Resulting in some mix ups with food orders etc but the staff were quick to fix any problems. ||Over all, great breakfast, great location, room fit for our purpose as we don't spend too much time in it anyway, right on the beach. Would definitely stay again.

A most enjoyable stay at the Rosamar Maritim Hotel which was very clean throughout.|Our room on the 6th floor had lovely sea views and a south facing balcony. We had half board with a big choice of food and the staff were very efficient. Would definitely|stay at this hotel if we come to this area again.

We have just returned from our holiday, where we stayed at this hotel for 7 nights on a half-board basis. The location is fantastic, right next to the main beach, and we were absolutely delighted with the food – everything was incredibly tasty, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The only thing I would suggest is adding a kettle for coffee and tea in the rooms.

we were staying at Rosamar Maritim , I don’t think the management knows anything about the hospitality business at all . The least I would expect from 4 star hotel was to have a hot water kettle and some cups with daily coffee or tea in the room , there was nothing in the rooms Or at least a coffee machine in reception so we could get a coffee if we don’t wanted to go for breakfast. the only coffee machine in restaurant that was working was in restaurants just in the morning which always was out of options and there was just limited options like expresso or americano on, and the rest options was off most of the time . The only soft drink that we could get on table on dinner time was water and the rest was on purchase . Our room Air-Con was not working , We have reported the matter that air con is not working and it’s very hard to sleep with the door open towards the main street with car and people noise in August temperature and even email the management with no response . We had to leave the door open towards inside corridor to get some fresh air and cool down the room which I could not feel safe for kids . Also none of the gym equipment was working except the noisy treadmill, So I would not recommend them at all

Super, next year again. The hotel is everything you need on the Costa Brava, location first row to the sea, comfortable, clean, perfect kitchen, rooftop bar, swimming pool, sauna, gym... I would especially single out the most important thing in the hotel, which is the staff of this facility.

Absolutely brillant hotel,the staff are fabulous and so friendly especially Marta.we upgraded to a Seaview room and it was worth every penny ,the view was fabulous and the room itself was more like an apartment with a separate bedroom and loads of space.food was very good and the girls in the pool bar were lovely ..the pool is a great height for my little boy who uses a wheelchair and he could walk up and down it on his own and theres a we seat in the pool to rest..he absolutely loved playing in the pool and he did amazing in it .I absolutely love this hotel and definitely will come back. Thanks again to Marta and her beautiful smile and friendly personality , fabulous hotel so sad to be leaving .

Starting with the positive. The breakfast was great. A huge choice if options that should suit all tastes. Incredibly fresh fruit and bread with freshly cooked eggs and meats are available. ||||Room had a balcony that overlooked the rear of the hotel. Incredibly smelly and noisy if you wanted to sit outside or keep the door open. Be warned it stinks!||||Sheets and towels changed daily which was fantastic. This might have been due to the "air conditioning". Really a remarkable feat to have a system that produces the most feeble amount of air into a room. No difference to temperature inside if this was on or not. Very dated and ineffective. Toothpaste left smeared on the mirror in the bathroom from the previous guests and not cleaned for our stay of 6 days. TV didn't work and fridge (which was a nice surprise) leaked. ||||The biggest let down was the staff. A polish family remained at the property for the entire stay and took over the pool and searing area. After 2 days of being harassed by the male members of the family and their children when I tried to use the pool I made efforts to draw attention to the behaviour towards the females in the group. One of the men began shouting at me, picked up a chair to throw at me and after his female companion stopped him began grabbing and thrusting his groin at me and telling me to "f**k off out of their pool". All watched by a hotel staff member who did absolutely nothing. And I mean absolutely nothing, even when I checked he could see what was happening. Reported to reception staff and the manager in hotel opposite (owned by the same group). A wall of silence from them.||||Beware of grubby rooms, ineffective air conditioning, totally indifferent staff to assaults by threatening and intimidating guests. Does have a good breakfast though....
