Hotel Rosenvilla

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at this hotel. The staff was kind, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The room was very comfortable with updated furnishings. A huge call out to Junior who is in every way professional and friendly. What a difference it makes when staff at the hotel cares about their guests. The public transportation was convenient and made it easy to get around the city. The fact that they provided a pass for our entire stay made it even simpler to use. Thank you for a lovely stay. We hope to be back soon.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here in September. It's a very nice up to date boutique hotel. Its about a 10 min bus ride to the train station. The place itself doesn't have an elevator, but they do bring your luggage up to your room. The rooms are up to date with everything. I loved my single room. Bathroom is smaller for my taste, but it was doable. Their breakfast spread was very nice and a lot of selection. The front desk agents were superb ! Very helpful in every detailed. They do have you a voucher bus pass thar goes throughout salzburg which is helpful! They also offer a taxis time pick up and drop off at to the train station as ubers are not as reliable from experience. At night the place is well lit and safe. I would stay here again!

I stayed at this hotel for two nights in October 2025. The property has recently been renovated, giving it a fresh and modern look, particularly in the reception area and breakfast room. I also noticed that they have just installed air conditioning in the rooms, which is a great addition. There are so many positive things to say about this charming little hotel, but one of the best aspects is undoubtedly the service. You can truly feel their genuine effort to make every guest feel happy and well looked after. I would also like to express my appreciation to the manager (Christopher) and his team for accommodating my request and providing the room I had asked for. The breakfast was lovely – as always. If I visit Salzburg again, Rosenvilla will definitely be my first choice.

We absolutely loved this beautiful hotel. It is located in a lovely residential neighborhood just a quick walk to Old Town. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and always included cheeses, meats, eggs, fresh bread, fruit, and homemade cakes and pastries. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Kenso assisted us in getting bus passes, restaurant reservations, and gave us advice on sights to see. The rooms are spacious with comfy beds and the gardens are gorgeous! It had the qualities of a luxury hotel and the warmth of a “bed and breakfast.” Highly recommend the Hotel Rosenvilla!

I visited this hotel in October 2025 and was impressed by its recent renovation, which gives it a fresh and modern look, especially in the reception and breakfast area. I also noticed they’ve just added air conditioning to the rooms – a thoughtful improvement.|The service is exceptional, and you can genuinely feel how much the team care about their guests. Their warm hospitality made me feel truly welcomed and cared for.|The breakfast was lovely as always, and if I return to Salzburg, Rosenvilla will most certainly be my first choice.

The room had a low ceiling and I banged my head three times but the room itself was beautiful. This is why 5 stars for the room. The staff are amazing and make you feel at home. It’s a boutique hotel, not a large scale commercial operation. You can help yourself to coffee and tea anytime of the day and sit in their courtyard to relax. It is about 20 minutes walk from the tourist areas but there is also local bus available. I would stay here again.

My partner and I had a very nice 3 night stay at Hotel Rosenvilla! All of the staff we encountered were very kind, but we had extra interactions with Kenzo (sp?) and Junior who were both very sweet people and went out of their way to be helpful. If we ever end up in Salzburg again we’ll definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Our stay was very pleasant, made even better by the lovely and friendly staff. This was our first time in Rosenvilla and by far the best, on our three week Europe stint. The room albeit small but was very thoughtfully designed. The welcome drink was much appreciated. Overall an experience we would repeat if we came back to Salzburg.

This is a great, cute little hotel. We arrived early, and they were very accommodating and able to get our room ready very quickly. The room had a nice balcony. The hotel is a nice 20 min walk to the city, or the bus stop is right outside the hotel. And the hotel also sells the bus tickets. I would like to note that the hotel does not have air conditioning, so if you're going when it is warmer, the only air is from the open windows.
