Hotel Rössli Interlaken

I stayed at Hotel Rössli in Interlaken during the Jungfrau Marathon and had a truly wonderful experience. The atmosphere in the hotel is very warm and welcoming – you immediately feel at home. The owner and his family take great care to make sure every guest enjoys their stay. Each morning at breakfast you are greeted with a smile, and the service is always kind and personal. It was also nice to have friendly chats with Jean-Louis and Christopher, who has such interesting knowledge to share. The location is perfect: close to the train station and bus stops, which was very convenient for the marathon weekend. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet – exactly what you need when preparing for a race. What I especially enjoyed was the relaxed and positive atmosphere. After a long day running, it was great to return to such a peaceful place. I’m grateful for the hospitality and will definitely choose Hotel Rössli again next time I come to Interlaken – whether for another race or just to enjoy the mountains.

Our stay at Hotel Rössli in Interlaken was wonderful. Jean, the owner, was very accommodating and made us feel truly welcome from the moment we met him at the breakfast table. The staff were warm and friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the location perfect—just a short walk to Interlaken West station with beautiful scenery all around. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of variety, and the little extras like free coffee/tea and lounge areas made it feel cozy and homey. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it offers great value, charm, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Interlaken!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Rossili. The room was perfect, very clean & comfortable, with a lovely balcony. It was perfect for our family visit. The breakfast was really good & there is a good lounge that guests can use. The staff were so helpful & friendly. We would especially like to thank Jean Louis! He is a wonderful host. We would choose to stay here again if we were back in Interlaken. The hotel is also a good location with a short walk to Interlaken West train station & buses nearby to travel around.

This is a beautifully kept family run hotel. The location was ideal (5mins from Interlaken west station) and a 2 minute walk from great restaurants (Stadhaus) and the COOP supermarket. The breakfast is excellent and provides plenty of choice. The bonus of the lounge area with use of a fridge, free tea, coffee and ice, microwave and cutlery etc is brilliant. Rooms are traditional, clean and beds very comfortable. Very powerful shower. All you need for an excellent stay. The family cannot do enough to help you and we made a new friend in Jean-Louis. He made us smile at breakfast everyday!|Thank you Rossli!

The hotel is a beautiful old and perfectly maintained building with an elevator inside. It has a common room with coffee and tea 24/7 where you can also seat and eat if you have bought some food from outside. Breakfast is excellent - you have all you need. Rooms are very clean and beds - comfortable. Staff were lovely and helpful. The location of the hotel is wonderful - few minutes far from Interlaken West Station from where you can connect to wherever you want. The hotel is in quiet and charming neighborhood. I would highly recommend it to anyone coming to Interlaken. The experience in this beautiful and scenic area wouldn't be 100% complete if you didn't meet the host Jean-Louis.

Our family of 4 stayed here for 3 nights. We found the staff very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great with a lot of options to choose. We enjoyed relaxing at the bar with Jean-Louis and chatting about life. Thanks for making our stay at Interlaken memorable. We would love to come back and visit again. Highly recommended

We have been staying at this small family run hotel for many years. It is well situated for public transport, shops and restaurants. The staff are all very friendly, caring and helpful and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The hotel is spotless, the rooms are well furnished with plenty of storage space - enough for our ten day stay. The provision of a small kitchen area with facilities to store or heat food and to make free hot drinks is very unusual for a two star hotel in Europe. Jean- Louis provides a good start to the day with his cheerful banter at breakfast. As we get older we appreciate the more recent provision of a small lift.

There’s a Coop supermarket nearby, perfect for any shopping needs. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious.The owner is warm and friendly, and the staff are attentive and helpful, providing great service throughout my stay. The hotel also offers coin-operated laundry and drying machines, which was very convenient. In the common lounge area, coffee and tea are available for free, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend Hotel Rössli to anyone visiting Interlaken!
