Basic room with awesome pool and deck seating area. Breakfast included about selection of ten delicious cakes. Location is close to supermarket and restaurants. Only $10 dollar taxi ride to the Aguazo Falls.

The room is a bit outdated but the staff is really friendly and the breakfast was great! Pool and playing area was nice :) Location is perfect for sightseeing, just catch an Uber or take the public bus.

Due to a delayed flight we arrived at 2am to a cheery welcome from the man on the desk who showed us to our room. This hotel is perfect for a stopover to see the falls; convenient for the airport and the bus stop is right outside for the falls or to Argentina so it was really easy. It is clean, comfortable and has really thought about what the guest needs. We needed to get some pesos so were directed next door to the flip-flop shop and yes they did a good rate and no commission. The breakfast here was amazing. The posher hotels we stayed in couldn't compete with this. All the usual breakfast goodies plus about a dozen different types of cake. We were very impressed with the staff who were very keen to help even though there was not much English spoken (yes you do need to learn some Portuguese!). The hotel even had a locker room with shower attached. I think we paid about £35.00 Very impressed!

I stayed here in March of 2014 for 2 night. The bus was right outside of the hotel. I was able to go to both sides of the waterfalls in one day. There is a bus that takes you to the Argentina side. There is another bus that takes you to the Brazil side. It is possible to do it all in one day but to really enjoy it these parks require at least a whole day. Truly amazing views and a must. This hotel is extremely convenient to accomplish these goals. Word of advise you need a visa to get into Argentina if you are from USA. I didn't do this and it took me an extra 30-45 minutes at the border to get it done. The hotel is very clean, comfortable, and quiet. There are restaurants just up the hill for all price ranges. The hotel desk was very helpful. I don't speak Portuguese which made it difficult to communicate with the night staff. Overall the hotel was a great value and would stay there again.

We stayed here for two nights in order to visit both sides of the falls. We booked this hotel directly ourselves and used local buses to see the sights which meant overall this portion of our trip cost us 1/8 of the price quoted by the internet travel agencies. As other reviewers have noted this hotel is conveniently located on several bus routes which allowed us to easily get to and from the airport, to both sides of the falls, to the 3 borders landmark and the Itaipu Dam with ease. We choose a standard double room and while it was fairly basic and had poor natural light it was clean & very comfortable so met our needs well. The included breakfast was quite impressive for the standard of the hotel and had an extensive array of choices. The pool was an unexpected bonus that we really enjoyed. We also used the laundry service offered by the hotel and the service was cheap and quick. A few of the staff members had limited English but we were generally easily able to communicate. I would certainly stay at this hotel again.

We stayed at Hotel Rouver at Foz do Iguacu in early September, 2013. It was excellent and we highly recommend it for the following reasons:||1. Inexpensive and very good value for what you get. I think we paid around $USD75 per night, and the room was fine, with good bed, en suite bathroom ,strong hot water, TV with cable and a little balcony that faced the park, plus, good filling breakfast, a hotel pool, pool table, table tennis table, and pleasant outdoor area - all free. (also free car parking, though we did not have a car).||2. Location. It is located in Foz city within short walking distance to bars and eateries, and a supermarket just across the intersection. And, the bus both Iguacu Falls and Argentina stops right out the front of the hotel. Also, there is a cab depot just across the street.||3. The guy on the front desk was very friendly and helpful.||4. It was quiet at night (although we did have a room at the back.)||5. There was a computer room with free internet (very useful, as we did not bring our laptop or mobiles to Brazil).||Craig in Australia

This hotel was very clean and in a very good location. It was across the street from a self-service restaurant, Muffatto, with good food. The bus stop to the falls and airport was down the street. The staff spoke other languages and were very helpful with information. The breakfast was varied and tasty. The price was very reasonible. I would recommend staying here.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Rouver in June 2013 while visiting the Iguassu Falls. The best thing about this place is the location - it is situated very close to the bus stop that takes you to the Brazil or the Argentinian side of the Iguassu Falls. However, most of the staff don't speak English at all and you need a lot of sign language to understand each other. So to get onto the right bus is a challenge in itself, but luckily we met someone on the sidewalk who helped us. My advice would be to ask around and make sure you get onto the right bus, because there are a lot of different buses going around. Hotel Rouver is clean and has everything you need although it lacked warmth. If you stay only 2 nights to see the Falls, I would definitely recommend it because of the location and the very reasonable price. They also transferred us for free from the airport to the hotel. The staff are also very nice and helpful although they can't always understand you. A good place to stay for a short while.
