Hotel Royal Castle

This was my first review on MMT booking and unfortunately, it turned out to be a terrible experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional. The hotel did not even provide an extra towel when requested. The rooms were unhygienic, and cockroaches were found inside. Breakfast was very poor, with only one limited item served, and it was not available during the committed time of 7–10 AM as mentioned on MMT. The breakfast was sourced from outside and served inside the room, and the quality was substandard. Despite prior confirmation from MMT and email communication instructing the hotel to honor the booking terms, the hotel charged an additional ₹1200 per night for my 11-year-old child. Since I was traveling with my family and had already prepaid, I was forced to pay the extra amount as changing hotels at the last moment was not possible. To make matters worse, mosquitoes were found in the drinking water, and the hotel did not provide sealed water bottles. Overall, this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

Don't pay advance. i loss 10k to pay advance.after i pay advance my flight was cancelled due to my flight cancellation I ask to extend atleast. they are rejected and they even not given refund also. Even I informed them check in time before 2 hours I request somuch .but they told we will not refund..very bad experience .. I waited 1 day on airport and i loss that amount and hotel amount. What can we do we are living in between Money minded people..

Worst experience ever. Will never recommend this hotel for couples or if you are travelling with family. Had sleepless nights with the strong smell of cigarettes spreading everywhere in this hotel. |Despite paying for breakfast we were allowed to select only one meal per person. On our first night we found bugs and hair strands on the bedsheet (don't be fooled by their pictures). The head shower was very dirty. Toilet tissue were never refilled despite paying for four nights. We had to leave the hotel despite paying in advance.

Rating: 0/5I had an extremely unpleasant experience at Hotel Royal Castle Mumbai. The room was in terrible condition, and the most disturbing issue was the overwhelming foul smell of poo coming from the toilet. It was unbearable and made it impossible to relax or even sleep in the room. The cleanliness was subpar, and the overall maintenance of the hotel was disappointing. The staff seemed uninterested in addressing issues, and there was a general lack of professionalism. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, as it was a completely uncomfortable and distressing stay. Avoid at all costs!

Management is good. Very cordial, warm. They did help out to ensure I don't unnecessarily pay more. So kudos on the ethics. They have done quite well in terms of room interiors considering the constraints of the locality. A little more room space would have been good to have.

Worst experience ever!! We had booked 2 rooms for 2-3 days..There were severe issues in the washroom and we had to repeatedly tell them to call a plumber..Had to leave the room so many times for that..The rooms are also very congested and smelly..The sheets weren't fresh at all..The receptionist was quite rude.

We visited the hotel last week. The entire staff was very rude & arrogant. There was no cutlery or crockery in the room. When we asked them for the same we were told that there is no restaurant, only a pantry. We were then provided with 1cup for 2 persons for tea, no spoon. When asked again for another set they were very annoyed. Wouldn’t advice anyone to go there, nor will I go even if offered for free. Never seen such arrogance.
