The 8 Best Hotels in Rome (Updated in 2025)

"Offering incredible value on the Termini Station side of the San Lorenzo neighborhood, this four-star hotel has an art nouveau look with wood flooring and period furniture, and many rooms feature unique furnishings. The rooms and bathrooms are large with beautiful wallpaper, art, desks, and plenty of natural light; the beds are comfy, shower pressure is great, and the staff are friendly. I love staying here." - Matthew Kepnes

Great location to train station, hop on bus, and nice restaurants. We also enjoy walking so we were able to walk to many attractions.|Sara, at the front desk, was very helpful and made our stay perfect.|We had stayed at four different cities in Italy and this had the best breakfast buffet of all.

Close to train station. Perfect for a morning train to the airport. The rooms are nice. You can leave the AC on when you go for a tour, so the room is still cool when you return (unlike many places in Italy). However, we were recommended restaurants by the staff. Tried one. What a tourist trap! They offer this tiny 1-2 sip prosecco and all the food was mediocre. No Italians nearby.

We had a roof top terrace room and it was fantastic. Clean, comfortable with great city views. There were a couple of lemon trees, an Olive tree and many planters, some seating as well. Check in and out was very easy. Breakfast was very good and it's about a 10 minute walk from the train station. They recommended a couple of restaurants nearby and also gave us a card to get 2 free glasses of Prosecco. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel close to Rome Termini station. It was bizarre that our room wasn't in the hotel but in an apartment block a street over. The room was lovely and still cleaned daily like a hotel, just bizarre being inside a residential apartment block. The breakfast was in the main hotel if we wanted that. We only ate it one morning and it was standard, nothing special.

Check-in was easy and the front desk staff were friendly and professional. The room we stayed in was small at first glance, but modern and well laid out — it actually grew on us over time. Everything was clean, and the housekeeping staff were consistently kind and attentive. We stayed in the annex, which many reviews complain about, but we found it totally fine. The only downside was that the hallway doors were loud when they closed — something the hotel could probably fix fairly easily. As for the location near Termini, it’s busy but convenient. We had no issues and never felt unsafe, even at night. That said, Rome in general requires awareness no matter where you are — it’s a busy city. The big plus here is affordability: food and other essentials were far more reasonably priced in this area than in more touristy zones. Overall, we would recommend this hotel, especially if you’re looking for a clean, modern stay without overpaying.

We were on a 10 day vacation tour and we stayed here the last 2 nights. It was the best hotel out of all of them! The hotel had anold worldcharm. Reception was very friendly and helpful and they even upgraded our room. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable but the bathroom was even better. Breakfast was wonderful with many fresh options. We were very impressed!

Fantastic stay in Rome, right near the terminal, majority of attractions are a walkable distance. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Staff was nice and extremely accommodating. Would stay again!!

Great location, lovely room, included and generous breakfast. All you can ask for, especially if being near to the train station is needed. Literally could see the train station from the front of the hotel (just a few blocks away) My room was street level to the front, so I heard some early AM noise. Maybe request a different room if that matters to you, Very satisfied
