I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The biggest highlights were definitely the stunning views, the friendly and helpful staff, and the clean, nicely furnished room. Having my own balcony with a coffee table and chairs was a lovely touch, especially with that amaaaazing view!!! On the downside, the shower was quite uncomfortable and felt a bit cramped. Also, the hotel itself could use some renovation to freshen up certain areas. The breakfast is just fine, but those scrambled eggs….how is it possible to ruin it every time

Not a 5* experience. The location is definitely a strong point, and the room/view have a lot of potential. The bathroom and amenities feel stuck in the 80/90s need urgent refurbishment. Staff friendly, but came across as shy, making interaction awkward. Breakfast was below average.

Not a 5 star hotel. Rooms are nice but bathrooms and public areas are tired and need renovation. Breakfast buffet is minimal as almost all items cost extra. Service is non-existent. They should invest in their staff.

Hotel Royal Crans-Montana||Hotel Royal is a gem hidden and tucked away from noise, crowds, located in front of the mountains and connected to a pedestrian wheelchair friendly footpath to the town of Montana.||The people of Hotel Royal made our stay enjoyable always ready to help with entry into and getting out of the hotel entry full of steps. The side entry allowed our wheelchair in and out of the hotel in discretion.||Our deluxe room with south balcony is spacious with a relaxing view of the mountains and trees.|The fourth floor was an excellent height. It only goes up to 5 floors.||The terraces outside, facing the mountains were also relaxing for lunch, drinks or simply enjoying.||The restaurant served excellent quality food with very reasonable prices. We chose lobster tails for our first lunch. Two delicious quality lobster tails with excellent tasting and well prepared kombu Japanese style seaweed and burette cheese. Our only concern is that the kombu is another meal by itself and was not compatible with the lobster tails. The burrata cheese was another meal by itself. So it was 3 separate meals in one meal. Too much for the lobster tails.||For our second meal we chose the fish entirely prepared in salt served for 2 persons. What a delight to have such a generous size fish, well prepared, accompanied with perfectly cooked|vegetables and potatoes. Simple flavouring and fresh tasting.||Breakfast was standard with a lot of sweet cake choices, however, additional costs to get an omelet or a few other things.||I read some reviews on the internet and it was sad to see how this hotel is under rated. Everything is clean, looking well kept with its abundant wood and refreshing atmosphere with relaxing views of the mountains and nature.||

Our room on 5th floor (top floor) had a fantastic view! Absolutely incredible to go on the balcony and see the Mont-Blanc!|Unfortunately you can forget nearly everything else. I wonder, how this hotel could still manage to keep 5 stars… such a pity actually, they need to invest and renew it (lift with grafiti, carpet with holes, cracked paint of the wall in the bathroom peeling away…) . The person who decorate the room must be blind, never seen in a 5* hotel with this lack of good taste, TV like in the 60’s… |Service? That is unknown. Reception guys (at least 2 of them) did not even bother to greet when you come. You have to greet first as a customner! (Remember officially 5 stars!!).|Breakfast: level boarding school and you can not have it outside. At least the young ladies of the breakfast room were really sweet.|Such a pity, to let this hotel die…

We had a very good stay. It was off season so the personnel treated us like royalty. And we didn’t have to compete for attention. Clean and large room with everything we needed. |The only small complaint is that the premises were overheated. The radiator was turned off in our room and yet we had to keep the window open at all times. |Overall great two days at this hotel and we wouldn’t hesitate to return again…and again

We spent a really good week-end with my wife. The service is perfect and the statf is very kind and service oriented. We had also an excellent dinner and the SPA is well maintained and plaisant. The room (junior suite) is nice and with a beautiful view of the Alpes. I strongly recommend this hotel

The hotel staff couldn’t do enough for us. We were all doing Wild Strubel mountain races, which means we all came into the hotel at funny times and in terrible states of exhaustion, and they were absolutely lovely and helpful and caring! Good, water, taxis to the airport. Nothing was impossible!||And the food, especially the pasta (made by Italians), was delicious. ||All staff speak many languages.
