The hotel offers basic but clean facilities. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a typical polish one offering meats, cheeses , yogurt's etc. We stayed at the end of October 2016 and was allocated a economy twin room. The room was small but s stated clean. Note there is no lift in the hotel. The hotel is well situated within the town with easy access to the trams that are used to get around the city. Trams are cheap and it is well worth buying a 1 day pass as this allows use of any tram throughout the day. Alternatively the tourist square is situated with a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Overall hotel good value if intending to be out most of the time as the room provided was small and the fact that there is no lift available.

Great room, friendly staff that speak English, beautiful architecture and atmosphere. Made me feel like I was back in the 1920's USA. Great for short stays, with good quality at an affordable price. Very nice carpeted floors and spacious bathroom. Will recommend to all my friends coming to Poznan to stay here when they visit.

Absolutely great value for the price! Especially with the free parking. We just stayed here for a few days but, truly enjoyed our stay. Perfect location. It was very close to the old town square, an easy 10 min walk away. There’s a ton of historical sites right across the street too with the old castle, university, statues, and memorials. Plus, the hotel was the historical revolutionary headquarters from 1918-1919! ||Room was small but, very comfortable with definitely enough space for all suitcases and two people. The floors are all carpeted and there is no elevator. Hotel was very clean! You can tell that the hotel is an old building (and creaky) but, I think it was been refurbished nicely. The curtains were sorta weird (in 4 separate pieces) but did block out the light well enough. Hairdryer is only available upon request. ||Breakfast was 30 PLN. It’s your typical European breakfast buffet, nothing too fancy. We also loved they had free parking available right outside. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Bar is open 24 hours. I would stay here again.

Easy to find via GPS/Navi, located in a somewhat drab but seemingly major section of Poznan. About 20 min walk to Stary Rynek, the major and definitely very interesting square with plenty of old buildings. The hotel offers free parking right in front of the hotel or, if full, at another secured nearby location. Friendly reception. No elevator in the building but we were assisted in getting our luggage up to the 3rd floor. Our room 57 was very spacious but lighting was rather dim, 2 lights at the bed were not working. Good desk with power outlet doubling for the coffee-maker. No proper chair at the desk, we had to pile 2 solid cushions from the sofa onto the low stool to reach working height. Creaky floors. Modern, well lit and very spacious tiled bathroom with bidet but scant counter-space to place toiletries. Great glass-enclosed shower but a bit of a leakage problem at the door.||Breakfast with plenty of good choices of meats, cheeses, breads, fruits, cereals, pre-prepared scrambled eggs - a great deal for zlt30/usd8 per person.||Overall: Distance to Rynek, no chair, no elevator are problem areas, also a bit pricey considering the negatives.||Friendly reception staff, good breakfast and free parking on location are positives.

This hotel has lots of character and history. It is easy to find and 10 minutes walk from train station and then 10 minutes to the old town. The old town square was totally restored after being destroyed in WW2 and is a real gem with statues and beautiful buildings. The hotel is very comfortable and it's deluxe rooms are great value

Pros - Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy and rooms clean and cosy. Bar open 24hrs! Hotel was just a small walk from the markets. ||Cons - hotel didn’t have a lift though and we were at the very top with 4 flights of stairs. Shower was a trickle and the water pressure on the taps were very low too. Could have done with more pillows.||I was looking to see if there were hairdryers there on the website but couldn’t find information so I took my own which took up a lot of space but, there are signs in the rooms saying they have some if needed. We did ask to swap rooms but the hotel was full. ||Overall great stay.

Rooms are ok, no thrills really, beds are not the most comfortable ones. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Cleaners are doing a great job. Very close to the city center without being disturbed by the noise of the old town. Very sensitive, so stay as far away from the reception/bar as possible. Would I stay here again? Not likely, but I wouldn't discourage anyone from chosing this hotel either. The price is more than fair.

Very nice, classy hotel close to the city center of Poznan. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are quiet even though one of the main streets is nearby, and WiFi is free. The only minus was the breakfast, which is served on a single plate instead of a buffet. But that might be an issue only during off-season. If I come to Poznan again, I will definitely stay in this hotel!
