Hotel Royal Savoy Lausanne

From start to finish, this hotel was exceptional. All the staff were incredible and nothing was too much trouble. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. Only minor criticism, I would have expected the SPA and pool area to be adults only. Suggestion, make a separate family/kids pool.

I had a wonderful experience at the Royal Savoy Hotel! The service was excellent, professional, friendly, and attentive from start to finish. The food was delicious, with a great selection of dishes full of flavor and beautifully presented. The cocktails were especially impressive, creative, well-balanced, and expertly crafted. The ambiance throughout the hotel was elegant, relaxing, and welcoming. Whether you’re there for a drink, a meal, or a longer stay, the Royal Savoy delivers on every level. Highly recommended!

Great stuff and rooms. Also the location is quite good and I enjoyed the quality of breakfast. Gym sufficiently equipped. Great outside terrace for breakfast time or chilling in the evening. Lake is reachable by a 5 to 10 min walk. Many restaurants can be found in the surrounding.

We needed to stay in Lausanne because of a hospital visit. The Royal Savoy was the nearest to where we were going so we chose it. We were so glad we did! It is an excellent hotel with an even more excellent staff. Very friendly, helpful and kind. As as example, around 2100 we realised The pillows were not what we wanted. Within 5 minutes someone from housekeeping was there for three for us to choose from! The safe blocked and again, quickly, someone was there to help. Our room had a lovely lake view, was quiet, immaculately clean and very comfortable.||On check in we were given a transport pass for Lausanne. Very handy because the metro is literally across the street!||If there is another time we need to stay in Lausanne - we’ll stay there. It is a very good hotel. But the stars are the staff!

My stay at Hotel Royal Savoy Lausanne was truly memorable. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a balcony offering stunning views of Lake Geneva and the snow-capped Alps. Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant was another highlight: while not Michelin-starred, the quality of the food, the presentation, and the ambiance easily matched that level. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a refined, high-end stay in Lausanne.

Royal Savoy is a high-quality, elegant hotel that radiates warmth and sophistication through its interior design.|The hallways leading to the rooms are lined with displayed wristwatches from various Swiss brands, reminding you at every step that you’re in the heart of Switzerland.||The breakfast is excellent, offering options for vegetarians, protein lovers (meat and dairy), and those who prefer a fruit-based meal.||One of the highlights of my stay was the spa center. In addition to the saunas and steam room, there is a swimming pool entirely lined with stainless steel instead of traditional tiles, which creates a unique and luxurious feel. The pool is connected to an outdoor section, and the water is warm throughout, so I was able to enjoy swimming both indoors and outdoors — in March!||For me, the spa is truly the highlight of this hotel.||The location is also excellent — close to the meteorological observatory, and if you enjoy walking, it’s just a short stroll to both the nearby lake and the city center of Lausanne.||Warm recommendation for this hotel!

A beautiful, timeless and updated 4 star hotel close to metro line (short ride to the old town and the aquarium) and only a few blocks from the main train station (Gare) and the lakefront (Ouchy). Superb lunches and dinner. Indoor/outdoor pool facility and onsite parking. Spacious 2 bathroom suite easily accommodate two parents and two children.

Our room was well appointed and quiet, with adequate storage for clothing and other personal effects. Staff was very helpful. Location of the hotel, midway between the port and the old town, is excellent. Hotel restaurants seemed expensive, so we went elsewhere for meals.
