We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and cozy hotel. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Pierre, the front desk manager, greeted us with a warm smile and even surprised us with a highest-tier room upgrade in celebration of my husband’s birthday. When we entered our room, we were welcomed with champagne, fresh fruits, and complimentary drinks—such a thoughtful touch that made our stay even more special. A big appreciation as well to Vasco, who was incredibly prompt and efficient in assisting with our baggage. He truly went above and beyond, even offering us a ride to the train station upon checkout. Antonio and Chris were also very accommodating. They gladly showed us alternative room options to address our room change request, as the original restroom lighting was a bit dim for our preference. Check out was a bit of a wait as it only has 1 staff assisting. I had issue with the remaining charges and need to email them and it was resolved by Zeyad. Overall, our experience was outstanding. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and genuinely attentive. The hotel is comfortable, well-kept, and perfectly located—just steps away from bus stops, train stations, and plenty of restaurants. We would happily stay here again.

Overall, the view and the room were fabulous and the service was not up to standard, on the day we came the restroom was very dirty and the check in was delayed even though it was already after 3pm which is the check in time. Following day the housekeeping was not done till 5:30pm, which is very disappointing as the reviews said otherwise. Also there was no food labels in the buffet and it was very unhygienic. Overall it was not worth the money that I paid and the service was below the average standard.

An historic hotel with royal vibes. Location is great and breakfast was quite nice too. What stood out though was the friendliness and genuine hospitality from the staff. Antonio in particular was very kind to offer us a free shuttle service to the train station when he noticed we had a lot of baggage - really appreciated that.

My husband and I had a great experience at the hotel. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We had a great stay. Will definitely come back.

This hotel was awesome, the customer service offered by Antonios was top notch, his kind smile, patience made our day even better, Antonios even gave us a souvenir when we checked out from the hotel, made our day even better. The room was really clean and spacious, our interlaken trip was complete by choosing this hotel, totally worth it. Had a wonderful stay at this hotel and i would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Interlaken. The room was clean and comfortable and location was convenient making it easy to explore. What truly made my experience memorable was the exceptional service from Antonio. A special mention goes to him , who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Professional, helpful and always ready with a warm smile. I will definitely be coming back and will gladly recommend this property to friends and family.

Wonderful hotel with a wonderfully accommodating staff. Helpful, friendly, attentive. Antonio and Carolina at front of desk were such a blessing to our group of 19, and Kristofer is a wonderful concierge. Location is great - from the chocolate shop right next door to the laundromat right across and the CoOp just a 5 minute walk away, as well as the paragliding office 2 minutes away and a stunning foniculare you must go to, you'll find many little shops within a 15 minute walk to suit your interests and needs.

Great location around 10 mins walk from train station and groceries. There are many restaurant and shops around here, which is pretty much center of town. We stayed in Rm 181, which is probably the best one in the hotel if only for the fact that it's in the highest floor of the newer building, with balcony looking straight out at the church, shops, and Jungfrau mountains. Room looks exactly as advertised. Bathroom is small but well appointed. Front desk was pleasant. Our room wasn't ready at 11 am (check-in is at 3 pm), but they held our luggage for us while we looked around.

Location is perfect, hotel is clean and rooms are spacious. We had a theory floor kind room with a nice little balcony with a view of the mountains and a peekaboo view of the park. AC was great. Wood floors so you may hear neighbors above you if you're not on the top floor. Front desk was pretty serious but generally helpful. Would stay here again. Hotel restaurant seemed busy but we didn't get to try. Located next to a massive souvenir shop and 7 minute walk to Interlaken Ost train station, 10 minute walk to Interlaken West train and 5 mins to Harder Klum train station.

Excellent service from the front desk and restaurant staff. Especially from Medi Bouras. Magical home in a magical place. Can't wait to visit again.

Amazing experience here in Interlaken. Spent 3 restful nights. Had a lovely and newer corner room on the highest floor. Great view of Jungfrau in the distance. Super helpful and polite staff. A very diverse and tasty breakfast buffet included. They were kind enough to shuttle us to the Interlaken Ost train station a couple times, but it's also a quick walk. Middle of gorgeous Interlaken so most eateries and shops are walkable. Easy walk to the funicular cable car up to Harder Kulm. Great place to make your base of operation for day trips to Grindelwald or Mürren or Spiez, or so many other amazing places within an hour of Interlaken. Just a perfectly quiet room. Nice modern bathroom. Great balcony. Gorgeous setting. And delightful staff. All for a rather reasonable price too. What a gem!!

Very disappointed with this hotel, not worth the money. I am surprised that the last review here was from 5 years ago.

We used the 4 star The Royal St. Georges as our base in Interlaken to visit the Swiss Alps. We got a newer/renovated room so I can't comment on the rooms part of the original building. We had to cross a enclosed bridge on the 2nd floor to get to our rooms. The Royal St. Georges was the biggest hotel room of any hotel during our week long trip to Switzerland. They even gave us a free drink voucher when we checked in and a basket of fruit was delivered to our room. I would definitely recommend the Royal St. George for a classy staff in Interlaken. The breakfast was very good as well which was included like it is in most Swiss hotels. Make sure to ask for a Latte Macchiato at breakfast.

rooms are terrible, tiny, and extremely hot and staff is extremely rude and unhelpful. i would not stay here again or recommend anyone to this hotel.
