Rooms are beautiful and spacious. Staff are friendly and easygoing. Located near some very good hole in the wall restaurants that showcase Quebec cuisine.

Hotel is an easy walking distance to Old Quebec, but the best part is the rooms! If it wasn't for Old Quebec I'd be very tempted to not leave the room. The bathroom is amazing and the bed is very possibly the most comfortable bed if ever slept on. Great choice to stay here!

I had a bit of a mix-up with my booking and showed up on the wrong date, but the staff welcomed me warmly and help me sort things out. I was truly touched by his kindness and understanding during a stressful moment. You can tell that the people here genuinely care about their guests. I’m especially grateful for the support I received — it made all the difference. Highly recommended for both the hospitality and the human warmth:)

Spacious room and friendly service. Plus lots of restaurants nearby, which is super convenient for breakfast. Overall an amazing experience!

Google
Room is very nice and spacious for a queen size bed room. Clean and not cluttered with some random stuff. Service is not there. Yes you would get service for cleaning the room but they have zero room service for food not even snacks or bfast. As for location, the area is surrounded by a lot of homeless and crack addicts but as for why I chose this place, it is a few minute walk to the office I am visiting so it is perfect for that. Very loud location at night so if you’re a light sleeper not really a good place to stay.

the rooms are spacious and modern with the renovations we have a full kitchenette in ours ...it includes a microwave , dishwasher , utensils , etc the staff at the front desk are polite and helpful ...we are only here for 2 nites however the 2 hiccups for Us are this ...No housekeeping service fresh towels etc we asked twice for the room to be made up and after the second request the best we got was fresh towels OK fine ...the Television also doesn't work without a engineering degree ...the staff from the front desk staff came to show us how to "work" it ...apparently scrolling through all the radio channels first is the

We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal William and overall enjoyed our experience. The hotel is within an entertainment district that offers nightlife, bars, and dining within a short walking distance. It is also only a 20 minute walk to Old Quebec. The parking is underground at a lot across the street and was a reasonable fee. The hotel could do a better job at describing the parking situation/location before arrival however. The rooms were clean, spacious and recently updated. The staff could do a better job cleaning between nights (they only swapped linens and emptied garbage - they didn't clean the floors, sinks, shower, etc.). Some of the hotel amenities were not exactly as described - the gym was described as "state of the art" and it was just ok. There was no bottled water or a kettle in the room as advertised, but the front desk staff provided bottled water upon request. The hotel felt secure and safe and was very quite. The buffet breakfast is not worth $15 considering there are superior options for the same price range within walking distance. Overall, given the proximity to Old Quebec and the accessibility to other tourist attractions, this hotel was a good value and we would stay here again.

This hotel had some nice qualities, but our stay was disappointing. We are Choice Privileges members, but we did not get breakfast included. The main problem was the Quebec City RTC bus pass. Before we arrived, the hotel confirmed that we would get a 3-day bus pass to use during our stay, but when we checked in we were told that was a mistake and we would not get a pass. The staff did not even offer us anything to make up for the inconvenience. We were really counting on using that pass! The weather was cold, and it rained at times, so we had to pay for rides during our stay.|The room was spacious, as well as the bathroom. There was a small "kitchenette" with chipped dishes, small fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Although the photo shows a rug in the room, our room had just a tiny rubber-backed rug. The floor seemed to be tile and was cold, especially when getting out of bed in the morning. The windows in the room were large, but dirty. The lobby was more like a hallway, and was not inviting. Some of the staff were nice, but after the bus pass issue, we were made to feel uncomfortable asking for anything else.

Yelp
Overall we had a good stay as the price was great in comparison to the prices in old Québec. But the area has a lot of homelessness so I'd be careful if you are alone or with a child as we were. Also, please note the reception is undergoing renovations but this did not affect our stay at all. I will say, one major negative point is that there is no underground parking or allocated space. The hotel gave us a $22 pass per day to park 1 block away which felt very unsafe due to all the homelessness in the area. Also the parking is actually $18 per day directly from the parking lot so ee got charged $4 more through the hotel. As for the room, we booked a room with 2 queen size bed and a kitchenette and did not get the kitchen which was disappointing as we needed it for our toddler.

Yelp
Pooh and I stayed here while visiting Québec City. I am very impressed with the room. First off, when we stay in a hotel we like to party (we are very respectful to our neighbours and hotel) and this hotel is the only one (so far) that prepares the room accordingly. The room is equipped with an espresso machine which we always need the next morning. Plus it has dishes, glasses, a fridge and microwave plus a safe and garbage bags to clean up the next morning. Very few hotels have garbage bags. Personally I think they should be standard in the rooms because there is always something to clean. There is a Bluetooth speaker which delivered quality sound. This room also has a table and chairs so we don't have to eat in bed - bonus! I also think all hotel rooms should have an eating area The hotel is walking distance to restaurants, bars, Irish pubs, and dépanneurs I gave it 4 stars because the cable channels suck! Luckily we brought our Apple TV unit with us (tv had an HDMI outlet) and there was construction happening around it and it would have been nice to be notified before hand but other than that this hotel is wonderful We would definitely return!

Yelp
Our stay was very pleasant, comfortable undisturbed with good breakfast. Hotel is centrally located and easy commute. The staff are very nice and helpful, gave us umbrellas when it started raining, helped us sort out another matter involving police.

Yelp
I love the spacious room! The service is great. Staff is friendly. Location is ok. Close enough to Old Quebec but it's a bit of a walk when you are tired. It's close to some really good restaurants. Parking lot looks sketchy but I think it's safe since its under an office building that grants limited access after hours. The bathroom could be a bit cleaner, and it could be a bit brighter in the hotel room otherwise I loved my stay.

Yelp
I enjoyed my stay here. Restaurant downstairs has a great duck poutine. Fairly good beer selection. The Boreal Blond Ale was delicious. Rooms are a bit on the smaller side but very comfortable. The AC unit could freeze meat....a good thing.

Yelp
I stayed here last week on my first-ever trip to Quebec and would highly recommend the RW. The location is outside the Old Town and a little further from most tourist sights (15-30 min. walk), but staying here also lets you experience the non-touristy "outside the walls" side of Quebec. It's in the charming St-Roch neighborhood, one of two areas of interest outside Old Town. It's right next to what may be the best people-watching coffeehouse in town (Brulerie St. Roch), and it's close to a bunch of restaurants you can enjoy with all that money you're saving by avoiding the overpriced hotels that gouge tourists who aren't imaginative enough to stay outside Old Town. Rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet, though definitely more "functional" than charming, and very much "no-frills". Staff were nice. In terms of bang for the buck, this has got to be one of the best hotel picks in Quebec.

Yelp
Do not stay here. There are far better places in the area for around the same price. The rooms are not well cleaned. Serious, visible mold in the shower and the bed didn't even have a cover on the mattress, just a plain, unfitted sheet. AND, there was a small blood stain on the duvet which also didn't have a cover. This was staying in the Business class suite! Thank goodness my employer paid for it or I would have requested a cancellation, full refund and walked out the door. Oh and the "free" wifi was absolutely terrible. Could barely connect on all three devices. Front desk just told me to log out, power down etc all of which I already tried and failed to get connected to. How frustrating! The front staff was friendly and nice, spoke great English but they need a new cleaning staff and have someone show them how to properly make a bed. I sat down to write on the paper left at the business desk in my room and low and behold, there was not a pen to be found in the room! It's all about the details! And this place overlooked all of them!

Yelp
Very good hotel, nice stuff and good rooms. Really near to the old city and surrounded by resturants(dont go to verso). Best value for the monet in Quebec.

Yelp
Excellent hotel with modern amenities. Great location for new and old town. Staff was very helpful. They have a private parking garage across the street...just let the front desk know when you arrive.

Yelp
Above all my anticipation for the regular price. Very helpull front desk guy, nice location, good service, a lit beat small qeen size (?) bed, nice serving of breakfest at the restaurant.
