Hotel Rudolf

Nice hotel that is 10 minutes walk to Rovaniemi city center and 5 minutes to the shopping center Revontuli. The hotel is somewhat outdated and check in is at a different hotel as there is no staff at this other hotel. Pricing varies a lot depending on whether you are arriving in peak tourist season or not but generally it is a good price quality match. Rooms are a bit odd, we are a couple and we had a room with three single beds but it was the cheapest one available. They kept the hotel quite warm too which was great when it was -20 outside. Staff at the main hotel was lovely.

We stayed here a few nights, it is about 600-700 m from center, which is not much, unless you have to drag your luggage on the snow at -15 degrees :)|there is a mall close by so you can do some groceries there.|Hotel is nice, but it would be good to have a little reception desk.

Room is clean, but the heater is still a little bit not enough. There is no reception, you have to walk around 10 mins to the counter which is inconvenient in winter

It's a roof and a bed not far from the city center, and it's kept clean. But it's not even worth half of the price I paid. For every service you need to go to the other hotel which, during winter, might no be so easy to reach. The Chinese restaurant on the ground floor is quite nice thou.

We stayed here November 8, 2025.. we already knew that check in was at the main hotel, so went straight there and we checked in and they held our luggage as we went straight to Santa Village. The receptionist was very helpful.. when we picked up our luggage, we went to the Rudolph and it was different, but quaint and clean enough.. no problems and stores close by for something to eat.

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK HERE IF U HAVE OTHER CHOICES The hotel is overpriced compared with what it offers Check in is in another hotel which is like 700-800m from its, so u hop to the hotel, do not know what to do, then it may take u a while to figure out you have to walk down the road just for check in in the freezing cold of Rovaniemi. There is no staff here What’s more, the room is tiny, very tiny, and it is just like a hostel. Nothing is provided except towels. Everything is old and ofc the bathroom smells. It’s a lie to say it’s a 3* hotel with this standard

The position of the hotel is very good, it’s near the city center (10min walk ca.) The room was tiny but okay if you’re a traveller who doesn’t care much about the accommodation I left 3 stars because 2 sockets were not working, the room was clean when we arrived but that’s it, during our stay (3 night) no one touched our room for cleaning or at least changing the towels and the mugs we used So overall the stay was good but me and my friend expected a bit more

Stayed here in the winter of '13. Nominally this is a hostel, but in practice it's more like a simple hotel. There were no dorm rooms available when I was there, and all private rooms came with a desk, small TV and bathroom. It was quite expensive - more like what you would expect of a simple hotel too. There is no receptionist, so you have to check in at the reception of the associated hotel in the center of town. The room was clean and quiet, but the interior was pretty bleak. There were a few couches in the hallway, but otherwise no common areas.
