Hotel Rufolo is a dream. The rooms are lovely and clean and we had the most beautiful terrace with the most incredible view. The staff is so lovely and accommodating. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. The hotel is very centrally located and you don’t have to walk up and down the side of the mountain to get to the hotel. It is a one minute walk to the pizzas and shopping. The restaurant is wonderful. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. I hope to return soon.

During my visit to Ravelo, exploring the town, i found the hotel offering light lunch terrace, i was impressed by the wonderfull view, looking over endless sea and Minore, i had my coffe after reapeating it trice, explaining to waiters that i need the hot milk separately!! they had difficulty to understand my demand!! I found my food not so delicious(melanzani permisiano) it was rather dry, perpraired. What makes the place of great value is the stuning view. I didn’t use the hotel, but i found the parking is an added value, eventhough entering it by car is complicated.

Excellent service and attention from the staff. We only came to eat, so cannot comment on the hotel facilities beyond this. However the food was of a great standard and the lemon cake was amazing! We sat outside and the view was beautiful and so peaceful. For sure I can recommend to eat here.

What a hidden gem. Can’t say enough about our experience at Hotel Rufolo. We left Positano early as it was not our vibe. We booked a last minute reservation at Rufolo and from the moment we arrived we were treated with such care, kindness and hospitality. We were escorted to our rooms and shown in detail the amenities of the room and hotel. We took advantage of the pool and on property restaurant each day. The food and staff were impeccable. Some of the best food in Italy right here. If you are looking for a relaxing experience do not hesitate to stay at Rufolo.

I just experienced the bar outside I the garden with light meals. The view is absolutely amazing. It's a quiet area to run away from the crazy touristic pressure in the region. Food is nothing special, but it's enough to satisfy minimum requirements. But with such a view, we don't need amazing food to feel great. If it's not bad, it's fine.

I wrote perhaps 9 positive reviews from my wife's and my trip to Italy. This one is a big negative. Maybe this is because this is somewhat of a rural setting, but we found the front desk service uniformly poor. They did or would not help with dinner reservations, or more importantly, when we had terrible noises overhead in our room they would not change our room. I had to get out of bed and get the night manager to come into our room. He said it was not a problem because it stopped after 45 minutes. No apologies.|The breakfast was very poor including a one-size-fits-all machine for coffee, tea, and/or cappuccino--all of which were poor. They were constantly out of fruit.|And finally, when we went to check out they gave me a bill for $980 Euro when it was prepaid. After 25 minutes, they "found" our prepayment. Again, no apologies for a very tense situation when our driver was waiting for us. We were not about to leave and have a thousand dollars charged to us. A very poor experience for us overall. The only saving grace was impeccable housekeeping.|

We booked this hotel at the last minute, as we wanted a short break from our 4-week stay on Capri. The Hotel Rufolo is a charming, quite old-fashioned hotel located very centrally in Ravello. We’d booked a deluxe room with a view of the sea and were given a lovely room on the fourth floor with an enormous private terrace - incredible views of the Mediterranean! The room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was included with our room rate and it was just so so. Although the breakfast room was largely empty when we arrived around 8:30 am, many of the buffet offerings had not been replenished and we had to seek out staff to get us some scrambled eggs and bacon, which took some time. But breakfast aside, our experience at the Hotel Rufolo was very pleasant and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone planning a short stay in the beautiful town of Ravello.

We stayed at the Hotel Rufalo for two nights in between a visit to Sorrento and Positano, and it was amazing. So much so that when we arrived in Positano i wanted to go back to Hotel Rufolo. |I had never been to Ravello and so I was kind of hesitant about the location and the hotel and both blew me away. The staff and the accommodations were wonderful. The room was very spacious and extremely clean, and we had a view that was incredible. We loved being able to see the towers of Villa Rufolo on one side and then the sea below on the right. It was so beautiful and peaceful. The staff helped us with any questions we had and we enjoyed the breakfast and took advantage of the pool as well while we were there. |I actually think the photos on their website do not do it justice. It was a remarkable place to stay and we hope to return in the future.
