Hotel Rum Budapest

What a fantastic hotel - myself and my son (16) stayed here for 5 nights. We had a medium spiced room which was very clean and comfortable. The hotel arranged some balloons and chocolates at my request for the room, which was there when we arrived. We arrived early and were able to check in straight away. Staff on the front desk are fantastic especially the gentleman and the lady with blonde hair and glasses (apologies I do not know their names) bed was very comfortable and shower was great. Breakfast was served in the rooftop (solid restaurant) lovely views and food was lovely - al a carte menu and we tried a few of the options all were great along with our lattes and juice. Location was great, we walked nearly everywhere and had no problems at all. We did use the bolt taxi twice who were able to drop us outside the hotel. We were being picked up for the final day ay 19:00 and hotel were able to offer a later checkout however I wanted the room for longer so booked a smaller room for the night and were able to check out if one and straight to the other room. Would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Budapest|Thank you for such a lovely stay!!

A nicely-appointed hotel in a convenient, quiet neighbourhood. Easy access to metro stations and surface transit lines. Very walkable. Close to pedestrian shopping districts. The design is an eclectic mix of historical and modern styles. Our dark rum room was spacious. Quality of breakfast options were exceptional. This hotel was perfectly suited for our vacation.

We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Rum. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional – they truly made us feel welcome. The service was excellent from start to finish. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city with easy access to everything. Our room was beautifully designed, stylish, and very comfortable, with a super cozy bed that made it hard to get up in the mornings! Highly recommended – we would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel. As an American, some things that stood out were the mirrors on the ceiling above the bed as well as the height in the restroom from the floor to the step up shower. The breakfast on the 7th floor was great. Beautiful views. The proximity to a lot of great little restaurants was nice.

Loved this place! It’s right in the center of Budapest, so you can walk pretty much everywhere. The hotel itself is super modern and very clean. Breakfast was really good — you can choose what you want every morning, and the coffee was actually great. The view from the rooftop was the highlight for me — absolutely amazing!

Absolutely loved my stay at Hotel RUM Budapest! The location is perfect — right in the heart of the city, close to everything. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the rooftop restaurant where breakfast is served is just gorgeous. Would definitely stay again!

This is my second stay here, both were very good. Of course hence returning this time. Location, service, attentive, quality and ambience all pretty special and very sincere and personal. Stayed a few nights beginning of July, was given a spacious room on 5th floor had a skylight window so no view, a/c was good helped block out some noise from street below. The al a carte breakfast came with 1 tea or coffee and 1 orange juice tried 3 of the choices but wasn’t really impressed would have preferred a buffet choice . So no not really impressed unfortunately.
