Hotel Rumi Punku

We absolutely loved this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They provided maps and instructions to help us find our way around town and to locate restaurants and our trekking company. The breakfast was excellent. There was fresh drinking water available in the lobby as well as tea at all hours of the day. The hotel is very conveniently located quite near the town square. They will store your luggage before and after hiking the Inca trail in a locked room. The most magical part of this hotel is that it is absolutely beautiful inside. Beautiful wood carving everywhere, beautiful gardens areas throughout the hotel and art and artifacts decorating the walls. There was a lovely fire in the dining room one morning when it was a bit chilly. This hotel is family owned and it shows in the beautiful furnishings they have used to decorate their hotel. It is a truly beautiful and charming place. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This rustic charm property is located within walking distance of shops, restaurants and to Plaza de Armas. The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions, luggage storage or change. The rooms are comfortable, clean and provided plenty of hot water. The free breakfast included a variety of cold and hot made to order dishes. The lounge area had a large fireplace and plenty of hot drinking items including cocoa leaves. The only problem is the noise from other guests, so earplugs come in very handy.

Excellent trip before and after hike of Inca Trail! Great location, comfortable, good breakfast. The hotel is well maintained with beautiful inside courtyard, fountains and flowers. The staff made it very easy for us to store our luggage while we were on the trek. When we returned, the luggage was dropped off in our new room. Well done!

Amazing place to stay! The room was so cute and the bed was super comfortable. The ambiance was incredible and staff was very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and they have filtered water available 24/7. It’s within walking distance of the main square area

Had a great stay during our time in Cusco. The hotel is well situated within a short walk to the main square but far away enough that it's not too loud at night. Our room was clean and spacious and they have filtered water available in the lobby to refill water bottles. Wifi worked well.

My parents, husband, and I stayed here 2 nights at the front of our trip and returned for 1 night after some time in the sacred valley/a trek. Beautiful spaces, comfortable rooms, hot water in showers, bottled water, and filtered water in lobby. Excellent and timely laundry service, drop off before 11am and laundry is returned to your room around 4pm folded. Were able to book massages the same day with only 30 min advance notice. We left luggage there at the front of the trip and it was already in our rooms waiting for us when we checked back in to the hotel for our last night. One way airport transportation arranged and included, the airport drop off arranged by front desk seamlessly and cost was 40 soles. Great location in San Blas, short walk to Jack’s Cafe and really anywhere you’d like to be. Heat in rooms is only on from 7a to 7p. Thank you Rumi Punku!

We had a wonderful stay. It is a lovely hotel close to the main Plaza. It is very quiet at night. The hotel has a good breakfast with free coco tea all day. The staff is friendly. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Our stay was lovely we enjoyed it

A very lovely hotel in the quiet area of the old town. It has a lovely lounge/breakfast room, and a set of multiple beautifully presented courtyards, full of characters. The room we stayed before heading for the Inca trail overlooks the courtyard. It was quiet and equipped with all that we needed for the stay, incl. a very comfy bed, good sized storage/wardrobe, hand-hold scale to weigh up the duffle bag, and good pressured shower. The hotel also offers fantastic selection for breakfast as in the photos, which gave us all the energy and nutrition needed when acclimatizing to the high altitude, plus on-the-day laundry services (by weight), there was no need to go around to clean the clothes when back from the 4 day trekking. |All in all, I would certainly stay there again if to return to Cusco another time!
