A very good hotel for staying for a little while. They have breakfast included and very dog friendly. I do not recommend going there if you have dog allergies because there can be a lot of dogs. On the other hand there’s a very cute pug that lives in the hotel (it’s the owner’s) We got a 2 m2 room and it had everything we needed. Some of the good things is that there was a jacuzzi and a balcony. The downside is that it was located at the top and you have to use stairs to get there. When we visited it was normally 35° C and it was quiet hard. The workers are really nice though and they helped us get our bags to the room. They have a parking right nearby but once again there only stairs. It’s is located in a very good place and had a entrance to the lagoon right near the parking lot. Also a kayak rental is nearby and they are also very good.

i love this place. originally we wanted to stay for one day, but the stay was so nice that we decided to stay one night longer. the rooms are very big and are equipped very nice. the bath room has a whirl pool and every room has a big terasse, where you can relax in the sun. the hotel itself is a very creative place and fits perfect into the surrounding of the laguna.

The setting is beautiful and so are the staff who take pride in this lovely quirky hotel. Set overlooking a photographers dream lake with only bird song and the occasional passing car to break the silence.||We arrived on the wrong day but we were fortunate that the hotel were able to accommodate . Whilst guests with mobility issues may find problems with access ,the rooms and in our case log hut,are well worth the climb. All the hotel was immaculately clean and the authentic Spanish food was delicious . Lagunas de Ruidera are a hidden Spanish gem.

The Lagunas de Ruidera are a surprise in the middle of dry La Mancha. This hotel is built against a rock cliff and it takes a good climb to get to your room. We stayed in La Fanega, fist floor and that was plenty of stairs The views of Lake San Pedro are amazing and the walks around the opposite shore one of the most enchanting for May. Many types of trees and bushes and wild flowers, particularly wild peonies. The hotel rooms are large ( by Spanish standards) and comfortable. Each has a small terrace and the service is extremely pleasant and helps with luggage. The in house restaurant is among the best in the whole Ruidera area. Wi.fi. works well. This time of the year there only a few guests. Summer time, we heard, is unbearable as too many locals come to get some fresh water swimming. Take time to get a four wheel drive tour of the whole area. It is very worthwhile.

We selected this hotel from Alaistair Sawdays guide for special places to stay in Spain. The location is lovely and the colour of the lakes was amazing. The hotel is right on the road which was not clear from the photos. The decor is quite tired and the cafe breakfast room was very dated.||The rooms going up the hill side are approached by a steep outside staircase. Our room was near the top with just one room above. That was a bit of a problem as the guests above us arrived very late and there is next to no sound proofing. They banged and crashed for about an hour to about 1.00 am. The morning they were also 'up' early making as much noise again. Our room was large but was old decor, the sofa arms kept falling off. ||There was no choice for breakfast although the ham, cheese, bread, fruit, jam and yoghurt was acceptable.||Overall this was not cheap and we have experienced considerably better accommodation and cheaper in Paradors and other great hotels at less than half this price.

Spent one night here whilst following the Ruta Don Quixote, and this was the best night of the holiday in fact we wished we had booked for longer, a unique room with the cliff-side stone forming one wall, nice view of the lake, (which is a magical place). ||These lakes are home to wild birds and flowers, saw Azure winged magpies, Marsh harriers in a beautiful tranquil setting.||The food and wine was first class, the service friendly, we will go again. ||The jacuzzi bath however was a disappointment, it needed so long to fill that the water would have been cold - the shower worked perfectly however.||Also this was April, and I suspect that in July and August or on bank holidays and weekends the Lakes are not so tranquil - so be aware if those are the times you intend to travel.||Definitely a wonderful place to spend a few days.

Albamanjon was the only hotel mentioned in the Lonely Planet, and it was not cheap. We decided to stay in this oasis of green and flowers afterall:all rooms are small cottages built against the rocks. Our room, called: La Manchega was literally built against the rocks: one of the walls in both the room and bathroom (with jacuzzi) was rock. We could even see the crystals! It was very special. Rooms are very private too, with their private terasses where you can order room service for a perfectly reasonable price. The small beach in front of the hotel is more quiet than the other ones. Restaurant is impeccable, good food, the only criticism is that the breakfast is too sweet (cookies and jam) for us North Europeans.
