Hotel rural Arpa de Hierba

We spent 3 days here and it truly was wonderful. Great hosts, breakfast was delicious each and every day. Beautiful surroundings.

Family run gem with charming hosts and staff. Quiet, beautifully decorated and comfortable hotel in a lovely temperate part of Spain with rolling hills, beaches, and nearby mountain range. Breakfast is several delicious courses so be sure to pace yourselves!

A beautiful hotel in a wonderful setting. We stayed with Patricia and Luis for two nights in June. What a fantastic experience!!!! From the moment we arrived we received such a warm welcome. They went to so much trouble to ensure that our stay was a memorable one providing invaluable local knowledge on the surrounding area, it's restaurants beaches and facilities. |Our bedroom was beautiful, spotlessly clean and had a stunning view of the mountains. |Breakfast was a real treat, cooked to order and absolutely delicious |This hotel is a haven of tranquility in a beautiful setting but it's most outstanding characteristic for us was was the warmth and friendliness of Patricia and Luis. |We could not recommend it highly enough. ||

What a lovely gem! We had a fantastic time there and even extended our stay for a few days. Patricia, Luis, and the staff are very attentive and accommodating. They also made great suggestions for us to explore the area! We will be returning for sure.

Simply Wonderful! We were the only guests at the time we were at Arpa de Hierba at the end of May, however I expect that even if it was completely booked, one couldn’t fault this beautiful B&B in any way. The hotel is short drive from Llanes. We had a gorgeous room looking out at the impressive mountain range - the room was spacious, immaculate, charmingly decorated, and comfortable. Breakfast was delightful. The wonderful hosts, Patricia and Luis, are friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable on the region. At their recommendation we visited some very beautiful beaches. The attention to detail and total commitment to the comfort of their guests is outstanding. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time at Arpa and highly recommend a stay here.

Amazing b&b in the middle of nature close to Llanes and Picos de Europa. Patricia and Luis are the most friendly hosts. |Breakfast is excellent. Rooms extremely cosy and quiet. Perfect place to rest and enjoy the magic of Asturias/Cantabria

It is sometimes difficult to explain what draws us back to certain places. This is a small elegant hotel just inland from Llanes. Views of greenery and mountains. Peace and quiet save for birdsong and the occasional cowbell. ||The hotel is uncomplicated but refined. The bedroom is spacious and the bed very comfortable. In the two weeks that we spent in Spain I got my best night's sleep here. ||Breakfast is fantastic. Freshly squeezed juice, fantastic coffee and great range of tea. Savoury and sweet breakfast elements cooked to order. Absolutely nothing to fault. ||The salon is comfortable and spacious with music on tap if you want it.||All of this is fantastic but we have enjoyed these things at other hotels so what will make us return to La Arpa? It's very simple. The thing that draws us back to certain hotels time and again are the people who run them - we want to see them again! ||Patricia and Luis are so warm and welcoming. They make you feel like a part of their family and so sad to leave at the end of your stay. They take time to make sure that you are enjoying your stay and, despite our poor language skills, we engaged in conversation and developed a great rapport. We were so, so sad to be moving on to our next hotel (with fancy gadgets and a sea view at the end of the bed!). ||We will return soon and continue to recommend La Arpa to our friends and family.||Muchas gracias et merci beaucoup!

The stay at Arpa de Hierba has been amazing. Every aspect of the hotel makes the experience better and better. I will cover each dimension below:||- Free parking spaces (10 spots) with enough space where you don’t need to be maneuvering like crazy.||- Rooms are not just cozy, but perfectly decorated. Beds are highly comfortable. ||- Environment is perfect. Surrounded by a forest ambience, with birds singing when you wake up.||- Breakfast is complete. Fruits, spanish local elements (jam, tortilla, tomatoe, olive oil, cheeses), great coffee and fresh pressed orange juice.||- The owners are fantastic.
