A very pleasant long weekend stay at a traditional Canarian farmhouse dating from the 18th century. The property comprises a small number of clean and simple bedrooms arranged around two adjoining courtyards. The courtyards are a peaceful haven, with areas sheltered by trees (and a hammock) together with a sun terrace. There is a comfortable sitting room for common use of all guests. Breakfast is taken in the adjoining Caserio de Mozaga Restaurant, which also offers excellent dinner meals (see separate Trip Advisor entry). There is adequate off road carparking in a secure gated area.||Mozaga is perfect for independent exploring of the island. It is at the end of the wine route, with a number of excellent vinyards/wineries (bodegas) in close proximity. It is also very easy to access Teguise (don't confuse this with the holiday resort if Costa Teguise), which was the old capital of Lanzarote. It is also easy to access the wonderful walker-surfer beach at Farmara (unlike the other tourist beaches this windy one is north facing with views across to Graciosa, and perfect for a long stroll).||Because it doesn't have a swimming pool, Caserio de Mozaga is unlikely to attract families with children... This property is therefore perfect for independent adult travellers (couples or singles). It offers a charming, simple, clean, quiet and comfortable stay.||We would certainly book here again. Highly recommended.
