We spend our last evening in Tenerife dining in this amazing place. It was the best food and service experience we had on the island. The Belgian chef is overdelivering, what skills he has. The owner made us feel very welcome and gave us a tour of the hotel after. Everything was served with a smile. 100% would recommend to our fiends! Merci!

Delightful stay!! Iwas with a friend traveling last December. The house has an old building structure (with all the decorations), but at the same time it's comfy and warm. I tried breakfast and it was wonderful! But the best was the owner, Katy: very helpful and friendly. Next time in Tenerife I won't doubt and I suggest you to do so: go and get a room in La Casona de Santo Domingo :)

The house is wonderful, the atmosphere is great and the pet friendly room we were given was spacious and clean. The man at the reception was friendly and helpful. On the other hand, it was freezing cold and even with the extra blankets given we didn't spend a relaxing night because the air was iced and they weren't thick enough. We checked in late, so we didn't want to disturb, therefore we couldn't even have a hot tea during the night, because nothing is provided: not a kettle, nor a single bag of tea. A little heater, at least for the morning shower -getting undressed has been a challenge- would be advised, the towels are so small that coming out of the shower is a nightmare! Maybe you just need to ask for it (we didn't) to spend a good night.

A nice small hotel with plenty of allure. Only 5 rooms then the owners welcome your very warmly and you immediately become somehow part of the family and feel at home. This is extremely pleasant. |Spacious rooms. Bedding a little bit too old. Big bathrooms but lacking an Italian shower ( according to my wife). |All the hotel is very typical and has of lot of allure. An old Spanish house. |Breakfast is great but no buffet.

Troubles from the very beginning. The checkin was delayed for hours, tired after a long trip we had to wait outside for the room to be cleaned - this never happened, we got a different room than the one booked. We were charged twice, the owner said it was an accident on Booking's end, but the truth was that Booking wasn't responsible for the charge, it was a direct one. Upon asking for a refund, I was assured this will be made right away. Refund was never issued after being charged twice. Tried contacting multiple times about the issue, but never got it resolved. On top of that, someone working there figured it would be a good idea to turn on the washing machine in the middle of the night, so from 12 to 2am, it wasn't possible to have a shuteye.

This is a clean, comfortable small hotel in a quiet town. ||||The patrons are a delightful French couple who are genuine, professional, good fun, and who speak Spanish, French & English. The hotel has private off road parking, and is tucked away on the edge of a small market (Sundays) town that has local shops and amenities. There are no night clubs, all night drinking or rowdy holiday makers on the streets. Just friendly locals. ||||Our room was en-suite, clean, bright & cool. It was tidied and the beds made every day and towels changed every three days. The breakfast was the fairly standard croissant, bread, juice, coffee etc, but there are other choices which can be ordered for a couple of euros extra. Breakfast can be served in your room or in one of the two sheltered and warm morning sun court yards. ||||The establishment is primarily a restaurant. This is where it gets really good. ||||I can honestly say the Santo Domingo Restaurant is one of the best three bistros I know of world wide. The food is sublime, the service is excellent and the ambiance is relaxed, informal and thoroughly enjoyable, all helped along with the locally grown wine. A truly excellent hotel for peace & quite, excellent service, superb food and value for money.

I stayed here two years ago and gave a glowing review.  Sadly I cannot do the same this time.  We booked for two nights and ate in the restaurant the first night.  The next day there was a wedding reception.  We only found out about this as our bikes were moved.  The wedding party were very happy which was good.  However, they were extremely noisy until quite late at night and the restaurant was closed.  We should have been warned earlier and asked if we wanted to cancel.  At the very least we should have been told on arrival but we weren't even told on the day.  When we were ready to retire for the night we asked how much longer the noise would be.  The answer was one hour but it was at least two.  We were told that our bikes would be put back but they weren't.  There was no one around in the morning so we had to search the rooms for our bikes, dreading that they would be locked away.  We are not party poopers and are in favour of a happy wedding party but it was clear that the management didn't care about their hotel guests.  We will not go again.
